Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It would be ideal if there was more to see. There is only one very large room and then one small room off to the side. So overall, not much to see for the money. Also, if you get nauseous easily, don’t go here. The exhibit is pretty cool, just wish it was more!

Rory and Chris were fun and informative. We chose our museum visits based on their information. Very easy to ride the segways.

Absolutely wonderful tour! It's clear our guide is super knowledgeable about the Capitol Hill area and in-the-know with all the late night goings-on in our historic buildings! Would highly recommend!

Ok folks I have a sleeper for you.
Took my daughter to see, "The Magic Duel" tonight as part of her Christmas gifts. This was absoluetly the BEST show per cost I've attended in the last 5 years or so. Absolutely blown away by Mark Phillips and Ryan Phillips comedic genius combined with their underhanded, overhanded, slight of hand magic stylings. These two could stand alone on their one liners, jokes, and snippity, snarkey humor however the magic you witness has a separate if not even stronger punch of its own. Yes, the audience was repeatedly floored and no participants suffered in any way at all.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU SEE THIS FOR YOURSELF!!
Located in the basement of the picturesque Mayflower Hotel, Washington DC.

Don't say I never hooked you up..................

A great way to see the highlights of the National Mall as you get round so quickly and effortlessly.
We have Segways before so found getting back on one very easy. Some of the group were novices but all the staff worked together in the store to make sure everyone was confidence and comfortable before we headed out onto the street.
The tour leader gave a running commentary via the ear-set so even if the group spread out a bit you could hear him clearly at all times.
The commentary was a perfect mix of real facts and information mixed with fun facts and anecdotes that kept everyone informed and entertained.
Would we do it again? Yes, Yes & Yes.

Let’s start by saying this is a great escape room! There were only three of us, but we have done many escape rooms, although in a larger group. We did the Jurassic room, and it was SOOOOO hard. I swear we needed a clue every five minutes. It may have been easier if we had more of us, but we still would have needed clues. The design was well put together, it had great effects and puzzles. I only wish we were smarter.

Smarter, AND to make this place easier to find. I suggest the website puts their phone number for the call box on the website. So, until they do, here’s a hint. The address is CORRECT. You will see the spiral art decor through the doors that people have pictured. To the left is a call box. Call the number on the website. They will give you the code to call them and only then will they buzz you in. Maybe THIS is the actual start of the escape room?

We thought we were going to a different axe throwing place to celebrate my sister’s birthday but ended up at Bad AxeThrowing instead. What a nice surprise! It felt authentic and comfortable. It was nice that you could bring your own drinks and food. The staff was super friendly, down to earth and helpful. We highly recommend Bad Axe Throwing. We will be back!

Escape Artists DC was so much fun! The owner was so kind and welcoming, the space was clean, and the escape room was so much fun! We did the Gallery Heist themed room and while we didn’t make it out in time, we still had a lot of fun trying to! I would definitely recommend it and am already planning my trip back!

This was our company's holiday event and it was, in my opinion, the best one we have ever had! Everyone who participated really seemed to have enjoyed themselves. This was my first time to try something like this and I cannot wait to round up a group of friends to go again!

A unique experience. The Mansion is 5 connected row houses originally build in 1892 but 'reimaagined' in the 1990s. They claim that there are over 70 secret doors (bookcases that open, mirrors that are doors etc) but we were only able to find 13. There are over 100 rooms and each room is packed full of 'stuff'...from very expensive collectibles (autographed baseballs, photos, musical instruments, etc.) and lots of 'junk' mixed in...there is something everywhere you look, floor, walls, ceilings. There are different tours and packages you can buy or you can wander on your own. The only shortcoming is that they they don't give you any hints to where all the doors are. There's so much to look at it can be overwhelming. A fun and different way to spend a few hours in DC. Everything you see is for sale and proceeds go partly to supporting artists. Oh and it's also one of the 4 best hotesl in DC with rooms costing over $10,000/night to $385/night.

Such a fun experience. Only issue we had was a very rude waitress working in the cabana area. She had blonde dreads. Needs an attitude tuning. The two guys in the axe throwing area were wonderful. Will definitely be going back.
