Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Rory and John gave an excellent tour and kept the Segway driving inline. I even enjoyed Rory’s bad jokes.

This was an excellent tour around the mall and monuments. Rafael is very knowledgeable. He was patient and was willing to answer all our questions. Our group of 17, including 5 kids, had a blast. Wear comfy shoes!!!

Absolutely wonderful tour! It's clear our guide is super knowledgeable about the Capitol Hill area and in-the-know with all the late night goings-on in our historic buildings! Would highly recommend!

A great way to see the highlights of the National Mall as you get round so quickly and effortlessly.
We have Segways before so found getting back on one very easy. Some of the group were novices but all the staff worked together in the store to make sure everyone was confidence and comfortable before we headed out onto the street.
The tour leader gave a running commentary via the ear-set so even if the group spread out a bit you could hear him clearly at all times.
The commentary was a perfect mix of real facts and information mixed with fun facts and anecdotes that kept everyone informed and entertained.
Would we do it again? Yes, Yes & Yes.

We took a pedicab from the Lincoln Memorial to the Capitol. At first I felt awkward having someone else haul my rear around, but relaxed as the driver made conversation about Washington.
One got a sense of how big the National Mall is.

A great segway tour of D.C. The guides are professionals who teach you everything you need to know to confidently ride a segway in a relatively short amount of time. And the tour was a good and standard D.C. tour of the major sites along the The Mall with the added pleasure of riding a segway- *it really is a pleasure, segways are really fun to ride!

We did the twilight monument tour on the day that we arrived in DC and it was certainly the way to get a handle on the layout of the city.
We had never been on segways before, are not exactly spring chickens and were understandably a bit nervous.
Our guide was Cameron. He did a great job and made us feel totally relaxed.
There were only 4 of us on our tour so he was able to answer any questions we had, more than adequately.
After the safety briefing and 'practise lap' there was no looking back!!! It was only a matter of minutes before you feel totally relaxed on them - would you Adam and Eve it??!
It was a fantastic introduction to Washington and you got the opportunity to see all of the monuments in one hit (we did go back and see several again lit up in the dark though).
The tour was very informative, THE best way to get around and the most fun you could have with your clothes on!!!

Let’s start by saying this is a great escape room! There were only three of us, but we have done many escape rooms, although in a larger group. We did the Jurassic room, and it was SOOOOO hard. I swear we needed a clue every five minutes. It may have been easier if we had more of us, but we still would have needed clues. The design was well put together, it had great effects and puzzles. I only wish we were smarter.

Smarter, AND to make this place easier to find. I suggest the website puts their phone number for the call box on the website. So, until they do, here’s a hint. The address is CORRECT. You will see the spiral art decor through the doors that people have pictured. To the left is a call box. Call the number on the website. They will give you the code to call them and only then will they buzz you in. Maybe THIS is the actual start of the escape room?

We had a great night after being right out of site seeing. We were stuck in the rain and missed our reservation, but that was no problem! The staff is amazing and we will return on our next visit to DC

We thought we were going to a different axe throwing place to celebrate my sister’s birthday but ended up at Bad AxeThrowing instead. What a nice surprise! It felt authentic and comfortable. It was nice that you could bring your own drinks and food. The staff was super friendly, down to earth and helpful. We highly recommend Bad Axe Throwing. We will be back!

There is nothing better than experiencing DC from the water. Captain Denny and his crew provide an intimate, personalized experience to meet your unique tastes. I'm a repeat customer and will never get tired of this cruise. Find out what you never knew about this history behind the scenery while enjoying spectacular views!

This was our company's holiday event and it was, in my opinion, the best one we have ever had! Everyone who participated really seemed to have enjoyed themselves. This was my first time to try something like this and I cannot wait to round up a group of friends to go again!

One of the most fun things we have done in a long time, we will remember it and cherish the memory for many years. We started off a little nervously but we got the hang of it really quickly and were able to negotiate our way through the tourists. Seeing the sights in the evening while the sun was going down was very special. Arron was very helpful and gave us a little bit of confidence to go for it. We would highly recommend it to anyone wishing to see the sights of Washington in 2 hours!
