Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very large, multi-building. Feels like signage is much better here than several years ago when I was here for another conference. Vast array of rooms., various forms of food available on sight.

This event is top no0tch every year. We expect no less from the Library of Congress. However, success breeds popularity and even though it is in the convention center it is too crowded to be able to see the speakers you want and move around the building. It is a 5 star event but when you get blocked from doing what you would like to do, well, then it is less than 5 star. There should be overflow rooms for people to see the most popular speakers. This year the RBG talk was very full and there were likely many hundreds of people shut out from this very popular speaker. if there was a ball room where we could see a screen, it wouldn't be as nice as live but better than missing it. The volunteer staff was wonderful and extremely helpful. I will go back next year and hope for the best.

This year's auto show was a bit of a disappointment. The Bugatii was not there for people who came to the show after Monday. Too many of the vehicles were off limits, such as the new Ford Lighting. vehicle was literally up on a pedestal with Ford employees around the vehicle to keep patrons away. This is a "state of the art" vehicle that is multifaceted. They could have least opened the hood and had a mock hook up to demonstrate how you can power your home during a power outage.

Quite overlooked, the R.A Taft Memorial seems to have been left without much care, the surrounding stone circle had quite a bit of undesirable matter on it, and it looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a good while.

The tower is quite large though, and the statue with good detail. The spot is still quite serene, with surrounding green space and trees.

Learned a good bit about a guy I never heard of before!

Upper Massachusetts Avenue (16 Street up) is known as Embassy Row with the cluster of Foreign Embassies and many grand old buildings. However, lower Massachusetts Avenue are known for old neighborhood and iconic historic churches. The Church of the Ascension and Saint Agnes. According to the history, the building of the church was completed in 1844. The Gothic Revival design adds nice look of the many different churches especially from 14th Street NW to 9th Street NW near Chinatown.

If you do nothing else in DC you have to book an electric bike tour with Bo. He is an astounding high energy tour guide and will provide you and your family with lasting memories of our nation's capital.

DC Embark is honestly the best boating company in DC. The Captains are personable, knowledgeable of the city, and extremely kind. I plan to visit every year, if God willing, due to my experience with Embark DC. I must add the owner is extraordinarily thoughtful and kind.

My girlfriend and I had our first float session today. We each had separate pods. I can’t say enough about the spa and the people. The experience was phenomenal. So relaxing. I look forward to my next visit. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great cocktails and friendly service. My friend and I sat outside and the server made sure to check on us regularly. We went on a Sunday and they had a nice Jamaican pop up with rum based drinks. Will go back

We took our third tour in Baltimore with Rent A Tour in August 2021. Another fantastic tour! I worked with Chris to book a private water taxi ride around the Inner Harbor with Chris as our tour guide. He is so knowledgeable, friendly and easy to work with. We look forward to booking a step-on tour with him soon!

I like to explore cities at my own pace, without being herded around, so this audio tour was perfect for me. I downloaded the (free) TripScout app and then bought the DC tour. It covered the highlights plus some hidden gems. I needed to find a cafe to meet up with some friends and it directed me to La Colombe, which was awesome and also allowed me to discover the DC Alley Museum and see the great street art there.

Myself & my family had the pleasure of taking a tour led by Brian McCauley ( Liberty Tours ) of Washington DC in July 2016 .
Washington was my favourite stop within the US & the tour was made so much better as there isn't anything Brian doesn't know about Washington & the US in general . His passion for his country & its history is abundantly evident & draws you in , making it a tour you will never forget . We'll be back Brian & we will look you up next time we're in the US . What a delightful experience!!! Very professional and his intent was spot on.
Highly recommend him. If you are in need of a therapist that will release tension. Manipulate your muscles to function properly then this is the person need to see.
