Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Worthwhile to see the important documents but also a sampling of all the other amazing materials they have in the collection.

Previously when I visited there had been a ton of shops at the bottom. You can now enter the free museum on the lower level & still access the tower. Most of the building is now a Trump Hotel.

The visitor centre gives you a very good picture of the White House, and all its changes over the years. The interactive computer animations are very good. The centre gives you also some glimpses of the family life of the different presidential families. There is also a film about a lot of presidents and how they thought of their role. The White House visitor centre is well worth a visit.

As a first time visitor to Washington DC, we were nervous about finding a parking spot. Thankfully the Ronald Regan Building Parking garage had plenty of open spots. Price was only $25, which I thought was fair. Coming back in to retrieve our car, we had to go through security. They extremely rude and barely spoke to us. Seems as though they hate their job. We felt safe leaving our car here because of the security, but they could have definitely been nicer.

On our recent visit to DC we had an afternoon of free time, so off we go on an interesting walk in the nations capitol. Lots to see on Pennsylvania Ave, on a walk from the White House to the Capitol. This statue was one of many interesting things to see, plenty of sunscreen, great walking shoes, hats, are definitely to have on this walk.

Probably....but the restrooms are truly terrible. Water is not available after you take care of things.

Walking past the Ronald Reagan building we noticed a plaque on the wall for the Woodrow Wilson Memorial. As lover of the presidential library’s we thought we’d stop by.

We had to go through an extensive security check, greater than most of the other museums we have been in because it is a working federal building.

The exhibit has many of the famous quotes from our only PhD earning president and there is a room with some artifacts and a timeline of his life. It does not take long to visit, but if you love presidential history this is one that’s worth the time.

I took two of my grand children (ages 9 and 10) to have a break from the many historical sites we had visited in our week long trip to DC. They enjoyed the climber, which had a long, and very fast slide. The kids each did one other activity: the craft area and the building area. There isn’t really much to do here so we probably stayed only an hour.

I don’t know much about the building or its purpose. In fact we weren’t even allowed inside the building; perhaps because it was near Christmas time? I usually like to just walk around and stumble onto pretty cool things and most times I do. However, this wasn’t one of those times. The building still looked pretty presidential and classical and it’s worth a look. Maybe since it is after the New Year, it has since reopened?

We had a fantastic moonlight monument tour with Fahad! We saw and learned so much during a 2.5 hour tour of all of the major monuments and some hidden gems. Fahad was an encyclopedia of information and made the tour so much fun. It was such a unique way to see the monuments and memorials. My 14-year old had a blast and is still talking about everything she saw. Definitely the highlight of our entire trip!

You can visit DC with another tour but you will LOVE DC when you experience a pedicab tour with Fahad and Nonpartisan Pedicab. Thank you, Fahad for creating some wonderful family memories that will last a lifetime!

My elderly parents had a great time with Jeff today! Thank you for a terrific time. I highly recommend this as a more Covid friendly, easier walking experience to see the monuments - you can see a lot more in a short amount of time than you can on a hop on off bus, so the price difference is well worth it. Most visitors coming to DC in the summer do not realize how much walking is involved if you want to see a lot of monuments in a short period of time and DC is hot in the summer, so this is a much better alternative for people who may be slightly mobility challenged. Highly recommend.

We did the twilight monument tour on the day that we arrived in DC and it was certainly the way to get a handle on the layout of the city.
We had never been on segways before, are not exactly spring chickens and were understandably a bit nervous.
Our guide was Cameron. He did a great job and made us feel totally relaxed.
There were only 4 of us on our tour so he was able to answer any questions we had, more than adequately.
After the safety briefing and 'practise lap' there was no looking back!!! It was only a matter of minutes before you feel totally relaxed on them - would you Adam and Eve it??!
It was a fantastic introduction to Washington and you got the opportunity to see all of the monuments in one hit (we did go back and see several again lit up in the dark though).
The tour was very informative, THE best way to get around and the most fun you could have with your clothes on!!!

We did the 3 hour morning tour of all the main monuments. Charles was our driver and Sally our Guide. We loved her commentary..and it was a perfect tour for us as we only had 2 full days in DC.
