Washington, D.C. location- I will only give this a 4 out of 5 because of concept and service. We were a little apprehensive about this place from the reviews, but went anyways because the concept sounded very exciting. So in a nutshell, excellent concept, younger kids had fun with tons of educational opportunities, but the facility location was not ideal and in serious need of renovations. This location is primarily for younger kids but older kids could find something to do ( paint, decorate cupcakes/make desserts, make spa products?) I understand the Bethesda location has a specific area for older kids/Tweens. Friendly and helpful staff, however seemed understaffed. Budget friendly for those not looking to spend much more than the $7 per person admission. Not sure the place was dirtier than any other public play area, just old worn toys and furniture. However plenty of hand sanitizer throughout. Great experience but we would only return if they moved and did major renovations. Recommend to families that don't mind older worn toys with outstanding service in what appears to be an up and coming area.
