Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying

- JayEmBeyWashington DC, DC58 contributionsSuch a great experience at this ArtJamz event. I'm not artist but ArtJamz provided me with all the tools to pretend like I was. The staff were very friendly and helpful.Written 30 November 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

As I walked down the stairs, my eager anticipation grew - I knew I was in for a real treat. I was not disappointed. In addition to beautiful chocolates that look like jewels and consist of high quality chocolates accented with fine coordinating and accents, they offer many different chocolate bars.
Go here to purchase chocolates for yourself, for your loved one (I purchased a box to bring to California to share with my husband - it took a lot of willpower to not eat some before arriving home), or for business associates. People who receive these chocolates will truly love the gift.Written 20 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I was hoping to learn how to make nan and got to. Also helped make cheese for the paneer. The curry was our #1 favorite, and we were split as to whether the flavorful raita or the sweet potato, pea and carrot fritters were #2. We voted before the fantastic and unique coconut dessert though. Bring your own beer or wine, learn something, have a fabulous meal w leftovers to go, and fun w your family, partner or a couple of friends. The Chef is moving soon to a bigger place but for now, stick to three cooks I'd say. It is cozy at his place.Written 1 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Susan R1 contributionWe did the bacon and bourbon brunch...and had a ton of fun! It was a good combination of preparation, learning techniques, and great for and fun. Our leader was funny and informative. We'll do it again!Written 20 February 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Vince MWashington DC, DC7 contributionsI'm not usually the sort of person to become friends with someone just because they helped me at their store. Leah's different. She genuinely cares about turning every single customer into a repeat customer. I've been stocking my kitchen with her supplies for 8 years now. She's never once steered me wrong, never once gone for the quick buck. She makes her money by making everyone a better chef, and trusting that we'll keep coming back for more.Written 1 November 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KellyS9Easley, SC252 contributionsWe had lunch here and it was very good and quick. I had the lunch chicken scampi with berry nut salad. The salad was fresh and tasty. The chicken scampi was the perfect portion. My husband had the lunch slider special with clam chowder and he enjoyed it. Our son had a cheese pizza and our daughter had the shrimp scampi. Everyone enjoyed the food and we were in and out in less than 45 minutes!Written 17 April 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - GudewichWashington DC, DC144 contributionsMy friend and I decided to try this and what a fantastic experience. We were fortunate to have an excellent instructor, a good bottle of wine, and a great sense of humor. Both of us walk out with a Masterpiece but more importantly, we have a great memory.Written 4 November 2014This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Adrianne MTampa, FL12 contributionsI was visiting DC on a solo trip and just happen to be looking for something to do at night. And I happened upon Theatre Labs production of the Titanic musical. As a music major, I love supporting the local arts scene of where ever I visit. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of talent within the company, as well as their ability the put on ssuch a great show with so little theatrical props and staying. That itself was a testament o the talent they had for the performance! Would definitely love to see another production when I'm in town again next.Written 7 June 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MKSSAChantilly, VA293 contributionsWe went to see Bowen-McCauley in performance here. Dance Place is tucked away near Catholic University, and it is best to get there early for the street parking. The small theater has great seats and, based on the TV monitor they had going, there are performances of all kinds there continually. The show we went to see was sold out both nights. There are some small restaurants within walking distance for before or after the show.Written 10 December 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
