Located inside t he Quechee Gorge Antique Mall, it really is a treasure for those of us who love and collect toys and childhood ephemera.
Brought back a lot of fun memories and great times!! Worth the $4 donation and the hour it took to explore!!
We always visit Stowe Craft and Design when we visit stowe and are always thrilled with both the quality of the service and the diverse and wonderful gifts.
I have beautiful jewelry, gorgeous wooden puzzle boxes, Intricate blown glass and wonderfully unique wall hangings.
With a lovely assortment of gifts throughout the store and a magnificent selection of toys and treasures for children on the 5th floor, there is definitely something for everyone!
... it also offers second-hand paperbacks, a nice selection of toys for children, stationery and other decorative home goods, some clothing and jewelry, puzzles, and it even has a great cafe, the Spiral Press!
Beautiful property, and an incredible amount of cartoon art - totally worth the stop!
Skip is a very funny and friendly guy... if you dont think you know his humor, you will realize you do when you see his greeting cards....
A local art section, music on the green, fresh baked goods, some tibetan foods, grow your own mushroom kits, local ciders, Stonecutter sipping gins and vodka, just delightful.
Even though I was there near the end of the season in late October, there were many vendors there with a great variety of produce, baked goods, crafts, meats, and beverages!
... the restaurant, and we could only enjoy a nighttime view of the waterfalls - but even with all that, we loved our time at Simon Pearce ... wandering around in the beautiful store, then enjoying a fabulous meal!!
You can visit the store and purchase beautiful glassware; or you can stop st their bar and have a drink; or you can make reservations and enjoy an excellent meal.
The food is great, the staff is friendly, and the store is full fantastic baking flours, tools, mixes, and all sorts of goodies!
You can shop for various KA mixes, flours, samples, unusual baking items or gadgets, plus a mega-selection of gluten-free mixes and flours.

Cabot Farmers' Store

Waterbury Center
It’s also in a little plaza so there’s a bookshop, clothing store, distillery, chocolate shop and a few other stores.
We must have sampled 20 Cabot cheeses, and I discovered two new favorites to take home!
The store and studio were filled with beautifully colorful pieces, we bought a sun catcher and white pumpkin.
It was fascinating to watch, and the woman who manages the shop was very informative, as the glass work began.

Also, the area is undergoing a renaissance so be sure to leave plenty of time to visit some of the other artisanal crafts and food shops.
My wife booked us and I was sceptical, Andrew made it lots of fun and I made a beautiful BEER glass!! What more could a guy want??!!!!
Guaranteed good time and worth $75-$125/pp for a take home item you made yourself with the help of lovable insane Vermonters.

Cute little shop with fantastic scents as soon as you enter!
The workroom, shop in the barn, and colorful gardens are as charming as ever and now the shop offers many more non-ceramic gifts such as kitchen items, gourmet food products, and home decor.

Great Cheese and Great Gifts

Sugar Shack

Arlington
Wish I could have one now !!! My husband liked the cheeses they had out as samples!! Great place to shop for friends & family!! Shipping is very reasonable.
The Norman Rockwell exhibit and souvenirs, which included posters, postcards and magnets (and more) for purchase, was also great.
Really good, world-class art on display and for sale (at very decent prices), on a lovely "campus" with two buildings and a setting in the trees.
Lovely little gift shop too.
Shelburne Country Store is a wonderful shopping experience with creative and extensive inventory from gift items to their famous in-house made fudge and incredible maple creamies .
There are games, puzzles, candles, candies, calendars, t shirts and other Vermont souvenirs.

A lovely shop that supports the wonderful, local art scene.
Beautiful produce and organic vegetables and meats, homemade breads, jams, body lotions, some jewelry, music from 11am - 1pm and the best place for lunch on a Saturday.

This is a great general store, with just about anything you need, from outdoor clothing to home baked foods.
Their maple cotton candy is my favorite, so I bought 9 boxes of that, then the maple ice cream with the crunch cone was beyond delicious.
April greeted our three boys and whisked them away to do some fall activities while my husband and I were able to browse all the great items in the gift shop.
Plus the shop sells Norman Rockwell prints, puzzles and other such items and the best VT syrup, cheeses, home made pies and donuts and outer wear and many other items.
This is an amazing museum with a strong local connection, sharing the stories of the Arlington residents who were models for many of Rockwell's most significant work.

Hero's Welcome

North Hero
They have a type of Vermont Country Store spread out among several buildings, where they sell food, clothing, jewelry, books, stuffed animals, candy, boating-related equipment, Vermont souvenirs, etc. etc.
Hero's welcome is your best bet for groceries, beer and goodies from Vermont if you are in or around North Hero.
