- milankovBanska Bystrica, Slovakia912 contributionsLake where people who traveling to Lomnicky peak have to change the car. Good place for tourist activity maybe in summer time. In winter time good place for skiing. Place of national observatoryWritten 24 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Miro SkasilBratislava, Slovakia84 contributionsHike is very simple at the beginning, but the top part is very difficult. I do not recommend to go with small children or dogs.
It's not the most difficult hike, but prepare to sweat a lot. It is necessary to prepare for a day tour. I recommend to leave the car at parking lot "Tri Studnicky". From there it takes about 3.5 hours. Ideally go as soon as possible, because around lunch is usually filled with people. The view from above is beautiful and the feeling that you climb up is unspeakable. People who are afraid of height or have poor physical condition may have a problem climbing up.Written 14 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Nika FárikováTrencin, Slovakia14 contributionsNice rest after hiking. You can buy a soup there or anything else. There is a beautiful view at the city, lake and shields.Written 17 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- scoutdocco126 contributionsWe started from train stop Popradské pleso and walked 4 km on asphalt route to Popradsé pleso lake. The real hike begins from there. This pace is not so popular, as the Rysy peak in nearby, but I recommend it, it's a long light walk, only the end is steep. Beautyful natureal sceneries and fantastic panorama. High Tatra mountais, as we love them.Written 25 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- clivepapBournemouth, UK14 contributionsI visited the mountain in January 2020. and used the services of Mountainpro guides . Peter was my guide and really helped me at every stage whether it was some help with the equipment or extra reassurance. We had a mixture of some sun but also some strong winds .Written 5 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- scoutdocco126 contributionsI think, it is the most underrated 2500 peak in High Tatras behind the popular Krivan, or Rysy. The ascent is pretty long, with demotivating parts. But if you reach the top, there will be smile on your face.Written 26 April 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Mojmir BBratislava, Slovakia473 contributionsThe highest waterfall in Slovakia is located in the Kôprová walley. The tour itself to the waterfall took about 90 minutes and you have two possibilities how to reach it. First - from Podbanske, which could be either a nice walk or cycling trip and is suitable also for families with small kids and Second- from Tri Studničky - 1/2 of which is more demanding your physical condition, but indeed nothing impossible. We took the second route and it was indeed beautiful.
The waterfall itself is astonishing. Very high (around 80-90 meters) with a small wooden bridge in front of it, wherefrom you can take nice pictures. Definitely recommend this easy to walk tour to everyone.Written 5 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - AnickaLudPraha11 contributionsBeautiful views and panorama, nice lake Velicke place with big waterfall. Go up the hill and see more mountain lakes and a lot of lovely chamois.
A trip to Polsky hreben is long, but worth it!! You don´t need to be a pro hiker, but need to be fit. Be careful with the weather, changes very quickly, after a sunny day we suddenly had to go back because of the rain and dense fog.Written 20 August 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Lukas J2 contributionsI like Ľadový dom. It's something you don't see every day and it was beautiful. But it is something only for a few minutes. I was there two times and don't regret it.Written 22 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
