Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Vivian LSouthern Finland, Finland2,504 contributionsThere were several shops I visited, I found nice handbags with reasonable price, pretty costume jewelery in the lobby area and good grocery store i.a. Good location near my hotel and long shopping hours including the special shops.Written 1 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AndyMK47Ljubljana, Slovenia155 contributionsAbove Victoria Bastion is an entrance to the cashier's desk, where you can get an audio-guide (4 EUR with admission) or arrange a tour. You then walk back up and down, through a second door, to the actual bastion. It is not a long tour - less than one hour with the audio guide. It is very interesting, though, and the guide is well put together. Recommended if you're north of the city center.Written 24 August 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Martins VJurmala, Latvia388 contributionsThe building is preserved, but closed. We failed to find more information. But the neighbouring new building of Narva Universtity college makes nice unison with old Town hall.Written 16 July 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ed SPhiladelphia, PA38 contributionsDid the “official” walking tour of the area one Sunday morning - surprisingly many people had showed, to the point where the guides had to divide us into 3 groups. I can’t speak for the English / Russian language tour, as I did the Estonian one, but our guide was informative and personable. There’s a fair amount of walking to be done, as the factory area is truly humongous. Not a bad 1,5 hours to spend Sunday morning for 10 Euros - if you into history, abandoned buildings and taking cool pictures - I’d say check it out.Written 29 July 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - nigueuLysekil, Sweden92 contributionsI liked this place, maybe because I have this interest of historical things. Also interesting to see the architecture and the wiews to other side of river Narva.
If you're in Narva, take some time and visit this historical monument.Written 29 September 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
