Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a wonderful square, leading to the amazing Viru gates.
The sides of the square are complimented by flower stalls, which add a lot to the atmosphere.

There is so much to do here at the Maritime Museum. The highlight is definitely going on the submarine ‘The Lembit’! There are also ships outside of the museum on the dock which you can explore and go inside. This museum is perfect if you have children as there are loads of activities and games for them to play. The museum is very impressive and you can easily spend several hours here.

My reasoning for 4 out of 5 is because the museum lacks a narrative - it is quite random, for example 5000 year old boats next to Soviet mines? It would be better to have a story or some logical structure to the museum eg Estonian maritime through time.

However, an enjoyable experience for €15.

A lovely little garden and park on Toompea Hill outside the Kiek en de Kok Fortification (and museum). Quiet and peaceful in the morning, and only a bit more bustling in the afternoon. Nice place to relax on a bench if you're checking out the sights nearby.

Good for the price if you're in Old Town. The ground floor had a good history video, which gave a good insight into the period. 1st floor, good history but a bit scattered around, would have been better if it had more coherance. Cellar had a couple of interesting historical things combined with tonnes of random collections. 2nd floor, only handbags. 3rd floor, didn't go, 18+ and others suggest it's not worth it. All in all, a good museum for 2 floors, which is more than enough for the price. Stayed around 90 minutes

The ruins were an interesting sight especially the big facade is very impressive. There are info point here and there which give out nice information, how ever it would be nice to understand the structures more in detail and how the life in the convent would have been like. The ticket machine was broken (it couldn't print out paper) so we got in when someone else got out. It would be nice that the entrance would be more accessible and not dependent on the wits of the tourist. Pirita beach and Metsakalmistu are nearby sights that can be reached by car or bike.

A wonderful journey to medieval era! Everything was magical in this photo shoot! The studio, the costumes, the accessories, the feeling, the photographer! Larissa is a professional and an amazing person and she made me and my niece feel and look like queens! Don't miss such a gift if you ever visit Tallinn!

The grounds of the Tallinn Song Festival are beautiful and spacious. I would love to watch an outdoor concert here. Anyway, if you want to see something off the beaten path, this is a must do.

This is a slightly deceptive building viewed from the front, pink facade next to the cathedral, as it doesn't resemble a castle. This baroque building was built sometime after the castle. To see its true (medival) identity you need to take a short detour to see its alter-ego!
