Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- S K4 contributionswonderful park, lush and green, just so sad that all the museums on the terrain, are closed on a Monday.Written 18 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Anano ATbilisi, Georgia25 contributionsOne of the best experiences I’ve had in Tallinn and the best museum I’ve been in. Must see if you’re in Tallinn. Go for the full day, explore the insides of the buildings as well.Written 14 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Paul RBristol, UK46 contributionsA peaceful and beautiful place to sit and The White Monk terrace next to it is a good place for lunch if you are visiting Kiek in die Koch and as an alternative to their rather soulless cafe (we went out for lunch and back in again afterwards)Written 28 August 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ville4 contributionsGreat zoo with lots of animals. Some of the animals had tiny cages but this is chancing due the constructions that are going on. Zoo has lots of space on the area so I’ll hope they get good size places for every animal. Souvenir shop was slight disappointment cause they didn’t have any donation type stuff on sale like in zoo in Finland. I’ll have to come visit again next summer to see new placesWritten 16 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jaana_SoulforgeVantaa, Finland386 contributionsLovely flowers and interesting greenhouse. Took Bolt there and back. Very affordable. They have a lot of specialised days and weeks, when you can get into plants very intensely.Written 23 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Thomas VOakland, CA14,604 contributionsThis is where we arrived as we were on a ship from Sweden. The terminal processed us quickly and efficiently and we were on our way to our hotel and the city. Good experience.Written 12 October 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Paul B10 contributionsA tranquil and peaceful little paradise full of beautiful plants and wildlife, definitely a must-see if visiting the Kadriorg areaWritten 23 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Serafina RTallinn, Estonia20 contributionsThere is a wooden walking platform along the coastline and an observation tower. There were lots of ducks, and I saw a roe deer also. I walked beside a stream from the Mustjoe bus stop to the beach through a small forest. It was a nice excursion.
I give only 4/5 because of the season - barren trees and dry plants.

This time the visit is really worthwhile, because the Light festival had part of its last day in the city. Attached is a couple of photos taken from the square when a light presentation was given. Additional experience was a laser show given in the Jaani church!Written 26 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 301lisa33Coventry, UK1,725 contributionsThis is a functioning, indeed busy, marina. It is a very pleasant place to wander around. However facilities etc are clearly much more important for sailorsWritten 19 July 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - June ASurrey, UK2,486 contributionsThis beautiful and peaceful park which lies just otuside the city gates provides a welcome respite from the hordes inside with its picturesque moat, many walkways and interesting sculptures.Written 29 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - June ASurrey, UK2,486 contributionsThis is a lovely little garden just outside the old town gates that runs almost parallel to the tram tracks opposite the railway station. I was here during the summer season when the flower festival was in full bloom with all its different displays - a good time of year it seems to visit. You can access a few of the viewing points from here, but mostly it's a nice, green place to relax and chill and watch the world go by.Written 23 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Matiss Z16 contributions5 km walk, with a watch tower, that is currently being fixed.
Few boards were broken, but you could still get over them, and i would recommend boots that are waterproof and/or boots that you're not afraid to get dirty as there is a small place where you need to walk through mud.
You can park your car next to the road.
There are few beautiful animals while driving to the trail.Written 23 October 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We have walked through this park at least hundreds of times. During summertime, it is a lush park with many people sitting on the benches.
The park is named after Estonian author A. H. Tammsaare. In 1978, a statue for him was erected in the center of the park to mark his 100th birthday.Written 15 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
