Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A short walk from the old town and right next to the train station so it’s easily accessible.
The market offers a wide range of fresh produce stalls, clothing and ready to eat food.
We tried multiple food including pancakes, pizza and cheburek from various stalls and they all tasted divine.
The downside is there’s limited seating the ‘food hall’ so try to find a table first before you purchase any food.
Overall, a clean market in a good location. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely loved a wander around this really cool area of the city. We came early in the morning but would have loved to return on an evening to see it more lively as there were loads of really fun eating places and bars to try

Interesting exhibitions, but 17€ for a ticket is too much. OK the inclusivity, but this is not the Louvre.

Little selection of old medine and tool. Worth a quick look around for 5 minutes as a window into the past. The staff member was friendly.

The small shops in the yard with a cafeteria in the middle concentrate each on their chosen materials. Keramikakoda has interesting figures and artefacts in ceramics, they also hold lessons for enthusiastic beginners. Both clothes and home decoration textiles in bright colours are sold at Parem Pool - the Right Side. It is customary in Tallinn to ask for permission to take a photo, the Chinese used to come and copy these unique models to be massproduced cheaply.

We almost didn’t end up visiting, but are so glad we did! It’s a quick bus ride from Old Town and we had no problem finding the gallery. The gallery is quite small, but has a lot of beautiful artwork, along with books, postcards, prints, pins, and magnets for sale. I wish we could have bought everything! There is just something about the art by Navitrolla that just resonates with me.
    They do take credit card.

During the Soviet period this department store used to sell everything available in the grim circumstances, for Finnish tourists it ment shopping practical items and even famous Lomonozov porcelain for some roubles, costing nearly nothing. Now the variety is international high end fashion for the whole family mixed with local designers like Ivo Nikkolo. The shoe department on the ground floor is large offering world brands for the same price as elsewhere.

Good selection of shops, this is a good size in my opinion- some malls go on forever. Some very good restaurants here.

We caught the bus out and the trolley bus back from the market, with a very pleasant woodland walk in between. The Sunday market was busy although some of the market hall stalls were closed. The market hall is a modern but period recreation after the hall burnt down within a few years of its restoration! Excellent range of fresh food on offer plus a cafe with cakes - what’s not to like.

Interesting space that hosts the works of different artists. Free admission. There is also a small cafè.

The Finnish owned department store Stockman is an ideal place to buy presents for your family and friends. It focuses on quality. I've lived in Estonia for many years and usually bought my fruit and vegetables from Stockman and many other items because I live nearby.

I'm now staying in rented apartments and prefer a more central location near Viru Keskus that has Kaubamaja, the leading Estonian department store

After corona times it was nice to see that some restaurant is still in Tallinn. We used to go there before and the food and cost are very balanced.

Worth the time to go see this gallery. The sculptures are very unique and the prices are reasonable. I will definitely go back and highly recommend this for others!

This a real market where the locals do their shopping. Some visions like myself who were in search of fresh fruits etc. There are many kiosks selling local products and the entire environment is one of down to earth aura.
It's a clean market and it serves it's purpose. .not really a tourist attraction.
