As we entered the beach we walked right into the Ladies' Beach, which is a traditional tanning area for more or less undressed females. Walking past that to the right, there was a section with mostly nude couples, and further on it turned all male. Towards the right edge, beach goers were few and we had lots of space to ourselves. It is not formally a nudist beach, and in most areas, people are wearing regular bathing suits.

The downside of that right-hand section is that there are no facilities. If you want to eat, drink, engage in water sports, or simply visit a restroom, you have to walk the other way, i.e. to the left as you enter the beach. That's where the action is, and it can get crowded on a nice day.

The water is very shallow along the beach, which makes it warm and safe for kids. But the waves stir up the sand to make the water unattractively brownish and opaque.

Inside the sandy beach is a nice walkway with shading trees, playgrounds and ice cream stands, bars, etc.

What a lovely place, 15 mins from Pärnu center. Wonderful to see and feed the animals. The cafe is small and does not serve food. There is also a shop which sells warm socks, gloves and other stuff.

There are a few rules to follow given the nature of the animals in the farm and I would recommend that you do not visit the place with small kids who might not be able to follow the rules.

The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. We saw a 2 hour old sheep. What a lovely experience!

It has quite a new spa area, so it's not only a waterpark anymore. Still, you can't buy only a spa ticket you have to buy at least a waterpark+spa combined ticket. The spa is small but it is beautiful and cool. As it was very crowded it was a bit unpleasant because you had to wait in a queue to get into the saunas or pools. Also, it bothered that little children were in the spa area, as the place is small it was hard to relax. It would be great if children for example under 16 years can only visit the waterpark area.

I have to admit, that this place offered a positive surprise. I expected a usual theme park with a cartoon village, with some odd buildings and the usual over exploited kids attractions, where after 2 hours you have seen everything… but in fact it’s a freaking awesome place to visit. Even I didn’t knew nothing about the actual dog-girl cartoon (and actually I don’t know even now).
From the parking lot to the theme park are like 1 km and I took the train. Didn’t regret ’cos you don’t wanna walk that way with a bunch of small "are-we-there-my feet-are-tired" kids. At the entrance you get a warm welcome from the all dressed up characters. They sing and dance, interact with the children and making photos etc. Was really nice. What I loved was, that all the staff was really settled in their roles and didn’t walked around with a grumpy face ’cos the court forced them to do their civil work there. My favourite was the big rabbit-dude, so cheers to him!
As expected the buildings were a walkthrough, but the whole day had one activity and show after another. So walking around and picking in the nose was optional.
Everything is in estonian, but as the shows are simple and understandable and the stuff speaks many languages, then it’s not a issue.
What I noticed and what was actually really lovely, was the fact that, when by some activities some modest kid stand aside, then always a character came and took the kid by the hand and included to the activity.
Food and drink prices are average, there is no queue anywhere. It's possible to bring your own food and have picnic.
All in all, everyone enjoyed their day at Lottemaa. Pointless to describe everything, just go and experience it.

Never seen such an entertainment before. A great way to visit an historic place and have fun at the same time.

Really good view of life in Pärnu and its 11 000 year history. You must at least once visit this museum to know the life in Pärnu and Estonia better.

When we visit Parnu we always go to this small zoo. Children love to see snakes and can wait the moment they will be able to hold them!

Walk through this gate and you enter the historic Old Town of Parnu. Another of the Baroque gems that walking around this town offers. The outside area has a nice park with riverside walk. Good place to stop on a walk or run.

We spent an hour looking on two expositions there. Not much to see, but ok if you want a little bit of art during your stay in Pärnu. There is a small gift shop.

Worth a visit if you are travelling to Parnu. Very calm and quiet. Nice and wild. Although I guess I didn't see everything. :)

This a life size sculpture of Estonia's journalist. He has a hard hat in one hand and a newsaper in the other hand. According to belief if you touch the newspaper you get good news for the day

My wife and I walked by this by accident on a Friday afternoon. The statue is nice but I was really impressed with the accordion music that was playing near the statue. Not sure if I have seen that done before. Very creative and innovative.
