    Memorable Trip
    I planned a trip to take my 2 kids (young adults) back to where my family roots were from in Bardejov, Slovakia. I had very specific things and places I wanted to see. Ondrej and his team were perfect from start to finish. He had arranged everything. It was a very memorable trip and I would highly recommend Rajec Travel. Thank you Ondrej. We hope to see you soon:)

    Once in a lifetime (but hope to go back!)
    I contacted Erik and offered my proposal to him. As this was our first trip to Slovakia, we wanted to enjoy some of the scenery, history and even work on our family history. We got all of this and much more. From the start, Erik stayed in contact with me, and we worked out many details prior to our arrival. Erik was punctual and his vehicle was clean, comfortable and with refreshments.
    We drove from our hotel in Kosice, over the mountains and to our ancestral village in Eastern Slovakia. Erik gave us great history of everything we saw. He stopped whenever we asked; for example, to see the many storks in the villages and to take photographs along the way.
    Upon arrival at our small ancestral village, Erik immediately engaged some local citizens and to make a long story short...we were visiting with cousins within minutes that we did not previously know. This in itself was worth the whole trip. Eventually we moved on visiting several other places and enjoying a lakeside meal.

    Individual Hiking Tour in Western Tatra
    Excellent communication with the office staff. We asked for individual guided tours and were provided with some proposals.

    Booking was easy. Also communication with Roman, the mountain guide works perfect. Tours considered that we are not so mountain-proof but rather beginners. Lots of explanations during the tour, very friendly and careful.

    Recommended without any “but”!

    Excellent skiing trip. Fun, knowledgable guide.
    We had a wonderful trip with Mountania. We were picked up at the airport in a comfortable car. All our needs were catered to.
    Mountania organized everything for us and our guide Maria was able to give us a really authentic experience we´d never have been able to have on our own. People in slovakia dont always speak good english so having a guide to translate and negociate for us was a big plus.
    We went to some excellent locations to ski, did cool cultural visits and stayed in nice local guesthouses with friendly staff, good food and ususally some spa service.
    Maria is a competent mountain and ski guide, knowledgeable, friendly, attentive and fun to be around. Slovakia really is an outdoors paradise and Mountania travel unlock the place really well for their travelers. I highly recommend booking a trip with them.
