Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great museum with a very interesting permanent exhibition. Parts of the walls are glass, so you can see the river from inside the building. Both indoors and outdoors exhibitions are lovely. Easy parking, very nice cafe. When sunny, enjoy a coffee break outside. You should spend at least one and a half hour to see the whole exhibition.

A fantastic cat cafe 10 mins walk from the old town. The cats are rescue cats and all very happy and content. Prices are very reasonable and a large offering of drinks to choose from. Cosy inside and a book on each table that tells you each cats story (8 cats in total) I came here a solo female traveller and was made to feel very welcome. Menus are available in English. Be sure to pop in for a drink and cake if you are in Bratislava!

I recently visited Bratislava's Mirror and Illusion Museum, and it was truly captivating. This small museum is a hidden treasure, offering a mind-bending journey through optical wonders, endless reflections, and interactive illusions. The hands-on exhibits were both fun and educational, making it a must-visit for anyone looking to experience a world where reality and imagination collide.

We had a great time shooting with Bratislava Shooting Club. The booking was short notice but went very smooth from start to finish. The experience was made special by the welcome of the club staff, the expert tuition and great facility and chice of weapons. I went with friends this time, but will be returning with my son in 2024. Thanks for a great afternoon !

Very pleased with our experience! We played the scary socialist stories, it was a very memorable game. The atmosphere was well captured and there were a few unexpected moments as well. Definitely recommend

A groovy smart little bar located on the road up to Bratislava Castle that has been designed to look like a tram. The art inside is very cool and changes on a regular basis.
Drink prices are reasonable and on the evening we were there the surrounding areas were very busy as a DJ played tunes from atop of a nearby building.
A must visit watering hole on any visit to this wonderful city.

Great fun, well priced with a great selection of drinks. But, it was the superb staff who made it 5 stars. They were really helpful, attentive and friendly. I will definitely come here again.

Exciting entrance (think Alice in wonderland), cozy atmosphere, original and very interesting cocktails, good staff. Hidden gem of Bratislava. Might be difficult to find a place so either come early or see about reservation.

Today we had a great tour at Devin's Castle and a 5km hike around the area together with Peter our tour guide. Highly recommended.. shared with us Slovakian sweets and apple brandy for the cold weather... so nice of him😊

Our day tour of the Slovakian countryside was absolutely magical! Peter is an excellent guide! He’s incredibly knowledgeable and at the same time is so kind and personable that you feel as if you are traveling with a friend.

First we visited the stunning Bojnice Castle, which feels like something out of a storybook (especially when lightly dusted in snow). Peter got us there nicely in time for the English language tour, and we thoroughly enjoyed learning all about the castle. It’s a visual feast!

The drive to our next destination, Čičmany folk village, was very picturesque with the snow-covered mountains and trees! As someone with Slovak heritage I particularly appreciated the museum tour in Čičmany. There was a very passionate gentleman who provided a wealth of information about the exhibits that gave me a greater understanding and appreciation of my ancestry. My husband said this was one of his favorite parts of our entire vacation! I loved the village shop, which has beautifully handcrafted and unique items (many of which came home with me as souvenirs and gifts). Peter also took us to a perfect little restaurant at Penzión Javorina. They had the most delicious Bryndzové halušky and also the garlic soup I was craving!

We didn’t want the day to end even as Peter dropped us off in Vienna for the next part of our adventure!
