Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It was very cozy and snowy, with a small Christmas market and beautiful Christmas tree. Must visit in Bratislava. Does not take a lot of time

For whatever reason this is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Bratislava. It is located right in the centre of town and best time for pictures is in the early morning or evening, if you want to avoid crowds.

The church is generally closed unless their is a service, although you can look through a window to see some of the interior. I was advised to visit half an hour before the service and it proved worthwhile. The pews and confession box are also blue. A most unusual church but a highlight of any visit to the old town.

An interesting history of the tower. Took about an hour to check it out. Has views over the city so good for photos and history.

We went straight up from the station which was quite a hike. Wound our way through neighborhoods with some icy cobbles and steep sections. The weather was cold but dry, there was a mist over the city and remnants of a recent snow on the ground. The monument and graves were a great lesson in 20th century history. Poignant. There was, however, a whacking great crane blocking the view down to the old town, which was a shame.

When we visited it the whole space of the square was occupied by Christmas market with many stalls offering various traditional drinks, mainly a bit alcoholics, and food but there were also stalls with different Christmas gifts. It was nice atmosphere and despite it was full of people I didn't feel to be overcrowded. The buildings around were beautiful incl. Old Town Hall with big Christmas tree in front of it.

Very much enjoyed our trip to the cathedral. Beautiful inside and out.
It’s difficult to see how old buildings such as this can be improved from a visitor perspective.
I would have liked to have seen more information inside regarding the various coronations which took place inside. Taking nothing away from a very good viewing experience

The Old Town Hall houses a museum, and the ability to have an elevated view of the old town area. The museum is very informative about the history of Bratislava, if that interests you. Many things to see and learn about. The best part of this visit though is the view from the top of the tower. There's an outside area where you can view the surroundings from all sides of the tower. Highly recommend adding this to your visit to Bratislava.

Old historical building on Hodza’s square. When you get off on square, you continue to Old Town which begins in three hundred meters. It’s residential place for country president

There are several very interesting places, landmarks and monuments in Bratislava , this is definitely one of those.
Now, would anybody expect to see a Napoleonic soldier in Bratislava - I bet some of you do , those who are into history - but , here it is - in 1805 Napoleon's army was besieging Bratislava - and managed to be successful - so this statue is commemorating the siege.
Funny thing - the soldier is showing his back to the French embassy.
Be prepared that there will be people who want to make a picture with this soldier statue - so be patient, you will get your picture too , the statue doesn't go anywhere.
Interesting - check it out when you are in Bratislava.
