Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Dedicated to those who died in the area during the cold war/iron curtain era.

And this was happening in the middle of Europe...

The name of the title roughly translates as “Statue of the World Old Man” and refers to the centrepiece of the fountain. The sculpture is a 2D abstract representation of the world with a man swimming on the edge of the world and a snail following.
A slightly cute sculpture. Although abstract, it’s not too difficult to understand, but only worth a look if you’re in the area and you have time.Written 2 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tomas met us at our hotel, and we drove in his car to visit the castles and some other sights around town. We learned an enormous amount of history from Tomas, and were extremely impressed. Afterwards, we walked around the old town, and had a great time.
I strongly recommend Tomas and Travel Bratislava to make your visit a time to remember!Written 16 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
