Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely little town with lots of souvenir shops dotted around. Like most cities there is McDonalds, Burger king and a Starbucks in the town.

The Devin castle is exactly what you need to visit if you want to see one of the biggest castles in Slovakia. It was an important historic point of the Hungarian Kingdom. It was the western "door" of the Kingdom, representing progression and westernization. I would totally recommend it.

Can't miss it if you visit Bratislava old town. The statue is mythic and beautiful, especially when it rains or snows. Well worth taking a second for a pic!

Signs inside are in English. There are lots of exhibitions to give you insight into young Slovakia’s history. Good views too.

Well worth visiting the ufo tower. Good views over the old city and the river Danube.
The lift up is just a short ride and then up a few steps to the viewing platform.
I had a beer in the cafe/ restaurant which was nice to warm up inside and relax overlooking the city.

Very pretty church and a spectacle to look at, although once you've seen it there is not much else to it, around 15 minutes from the old town, so definitely worth a visit in my opinion.

Slavín is a memorial monument and military cemetery in Bratislava, It is the burial ground of thousands of Soviet Army soldiers who fell during World War.It is about 20 minutes walk from Old Town. The day i visited it was snowy, rainy, and dreary looking which made it a very depressing site Nonetheless, I was happy to have visited.

Really impressive tower, although probably won't take you more than half an hour to have good luck and get photographs.

The heart ❤️ of Old Town, place for markets in Christmas 🎄 time. Very small, connected to many street with pubs, restaurants, coffeehouses and shops, few hundreds meters away from castle 🏰 stairs and Michalska gate. Neighbouring with Frantiskanske square and old municipality house

Small but nice old town to visit...issue was the weather which was very hot and stuffy.
As it was very hot, we went to uphill Bratislava, in the forest named Banzik. Take a Bolt drive to the TV Towe, it's only a 15mins drive from the city centre. It was a pleasant and gentle 2 hours hiking experience in the forest. Afterwards, you can go on top of the TV tower for a nice view of Bratislava. The cost is 6 euros each. There is a nice revolving restaurant on top and you get the entrance fee refunded if you have a main course there. So, it's nice to know...We had planned to go to the lake nearby for a swim but I fell sick, so it got cancelled.

A cute building but it doesn't stand out from the rest all that much. That being said, you will almost certainly walk by it. Worth a picture.

This Tower is a very simple Cathedral. What stands out most about it it is beautiful tower which can be seen from the roof top of St Michael's Tower., and its tower look similar to that of St. Michael's tower, having the same colours. Other than that the interior of the cathedral is very small, nothing too fascinating about it but it does have some history that is special to Slovakians.

Old historical building on Hodza’s square. When you get off on square, you continue to Old Town which begins in three hundred meters. It’s residential place for country president

Mixture of walking passage, park with old trees 🌳 and number of restaurants, coffee shops or pubs. Nice hideout in summer heat, connecting National theatre 🎭 and famous New Bridge 🌉

The old town center in Bratislava includes a number of funny, whimsical statues. This one features a fellow in top hat and tails. Perfect place for a photo opp or selfie.
