Walking through this old section is as good as it gets. Less crowded than many/most European capital cities with street entertainers, unique statues, fountains, shops, and cafes. We absolutely loved the sound and feel of the city.

Worth going, but catch the local bus from the Quay. Only 20 minutes at the most. 1 Euro. Lovely trip, get to see local area. Then get ready for the climb. Stunning views. First thing we did on arrival in Bratislava, before crowds got there

Beautiful small church within walking distance from the city centre. Too bad we weren't able to enter the garden for the best photo shots

The only reason I am giving out four stars is the difficulty to get there otherwise it is a spectacular memorial dedicated to Russian soldiers who liberated Slovakia during the second world war. You'll have to take a bus with the huge electrical wires - so called troli-bus which was fun.

You have to see this unique statue and perhaps rub his head or nose...Get a picture too! It is found in Old Town and is just part of what makes this a special city.

Tghe gate area was really cool. Unfortunately, it was still under construction in May 2022. The buildings were just fantastic.

This is built at the end of a bridge. It’s a observation deck with good views and a place to eat. It looks like a UFO, this the name.

The old town hall offers quite many things to see. Climbing up the tower offers a great view of the old city as well as visiting the museum

We rented scooters and came up at sunset for views. We did not go in the castle as it was closed, but there is a museum, gift shop and toilets available in the day time.

This Cathedral within an easy walk of Old Town and/or the Danube is the best in town to pay a visit. On our recent trip we visited upwards of 10-15 churches and this is one we can differentiate from most. The view into the catacombs should not be missed.

This statue is located on the corner of the main square of the city. Nice location as we walked down the street. Some people were taking pictures of it.

This is the second oldest Slovak professional theater with three regular ensembles including ballet, opera and drama. We came to Bratislava on a Viator tour which stopped here and we learned of it's proud history. It is a great photo opportunity.
