    A lovely introduction to an old city
    The tour guide was a little bit late arriving but more than made up for it with a very good tour of a charming European town that is unexpected for travelers used to Western Europe. Part history lesson, part food tour, part sight seeing it was a perfect blend for first time visitors to Bratislava. The weather was chilly and rainy and she also made sure to keep us undercover as much as possible.

    Highly recommended
    We would highly recommend this tour! Sam was a great tour guide, and had loads of knowledge about Slovak food and beer, and took us to lots of lovely places with amazing food. We learnt a lot about the culture and got to see lots of the city. The goodie bag and follow-up information by email really made it special for us! Thank you

    Fantastic experience!!
    Awesome night full of fun and laughter great drinks with a very knowledgeable guide !! We sampled many different types of Slovakian drinks !! And ate some lovely food along the way !!

    Great Craft Beer Tour
    My wife and I really enjoyed the the craft beer tour. Our guide Daniela was very knowledgeable and provided a great experience. The places on the tour were all different and had excellent selection of beers. If you are in Bratislava, I highly recommend Taste Bratislava and their beer tour.

    Everything was perfect. Every beer was explained in detail. The guide was super friendly and super ready to answer any kind of question.

    beer tasting a must in Bratislava
    Milan was the name of our guide. An "elder gentleman" who loves his city, spoke very good German and guided us through the city of Bratislava with a lot of wit. In the brewery he told us about the brewing art of the past year exchanges and in particular thech and Slovak. My daughter and I enjoyed it very much. I could add a few anecdotes about the German art of brewing. It was a nice evening.

    Great ride!
    Our driver was really cool, we really enjoyed the ride!

    My recommandation: The girls, we payed for ("pretty barmaid"), were friendly, but doesnt really understand any english, it would be better if the could speak a little bit at least

    But anway, great ride! :)

    Best tour!
    Great tour! My wife and I had never visited Bratislava before and wanted to play it loose so we didn't schedule any tours ahead of time. We contacted Bratislava Food Tours via their website email and Whatsapp. Linda got back to us super quick and we were on for that night. We met our tour guide Matus at Bratislava Castle with an amazing overlook. He treated us to shots of blueberry and cherry homemade liquer right there and off we went to our next stop, a great hidden restaurant we had walked by the day before and didn't notice. We stopped and had a glass of wine, tried the most amazing pate' and homemade cheese. We then headed down the hill to the next stop for Slovak string cheese. We then headed to a beautiful restaurant that was a converted Soviet playhouse for communist cola (Kofaloa) a shot and soup. We had more shots outside of a local drink, had beers at a really neat local's place that has a rotating tap menu. We then headed to a hidden bar in old-town for Vinea, soviet crisp puffs and some other alcohol. Matus gifted us each bags with a bunch of goodies to remember our trip. We were lucky we got the tour to ourselves and Matus was a wonderful host, his English is perfect and is really knowledgeable about his town. This isn't just a drinks tour, but a food/heavy snacks tour. It was a lot of fun and the highlight of our trip. I'm sure the locations change depending on availability and your experience may differ, but it will be worth it. Slovakian drinking culture is fun and delicious.
