Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We really enjoyed our tour with Sebastian. I came away feeling I had real insight into Slovakian history and culture. A really good introduction to Bratislava. Sebastian was engaging, entertaining, and we would definitely recommend this tour!

My wife and I hired a car with an English speaking driver from Vienna to Budapest, Hungary with stop-over in Bratislava. We were charged Euro 200/- one way trip. We found it was cheap because the driver picked us from Vienna hotel and dropped us at Budapest hotel. On top of that, he took us for a walking tour to see the old palace, government buildings and the narrow streets of downtown Bratislava and fantastic Blue Church.

Bratislava is a small city and the whole tour took us only one hour. But it is a nice city with nice friendly people.

Jakub was an excellent host! It was just two of us and the guide and he did a great job connecting and making us feel welcome. We loved our tour of Bratislava and all the food we tried (perhaps our favorite of our entire European tour). Truly a great experience!

Mammoth thanks are extended to Samuel, a hilarious guide, a bright promising student of economics and history aficionado. The discussion about the difference between “coronation” and “hereditary homage” with a relation to Maria Theresia was particularly illuminating and entertaining. Juxtaposition of the movie “Bardejov” to Slovak history in WWII was also educational.Excellent job, Samuel!

Guga was a great host. Large but friendly and diverse group. Went to new places and tried different drinks. Even made our train-just!

After the trip to Devin Castle, we continued with a tour of Bratislava. The guide accommodated our requests and adjusted the program exactly as we wanted. We were very satisfied with the services, and it was a great experience for our children as well.

Thank you for a great Food tour, we all enjoyed the walk, the Food and especially Our guide.
She had a lot of knowledge and patience to answer all our questions, and her Swedish was excellent and easy to understand.
The tour was well organized and you showed us places we would never found by ourselves, and gave us some memorable tastes.

The tour guide was a little bit late arriving but more than made up for it with a very good tour of a charming European town that is unexpected for travelers used to Western Europe. Part history lesson, part food tour, part sight seeing it was a perfect blend for first time visitors to Bratislava. The weather was chilly and rainy and she also made sure to keep us undercover as much as possible.

This is a 5 hour tour that should really be a 7 hour tour. While you see a lot of old town Bratislava and learn about and get to visit Devín Castle, a little more time would have made it a better tour. When it comes to Bratislava Castle you drive by it, that’s it. The description seems like you might do a little more than that. We had to an Uber back to the castle later in the day to actually go to Bratislava Castle. Felt at times we were rushed during the tour

Roman was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable and friendly, with a good sense of humour. This made the history really come alive. It was a very hot day but he made sure to have frequent stops in the shade and to drink water. He was interested in where we were all from and was very happy to chat. His restaurant recommendations were brilliant. He chatted for ages informally with us after the tour finished. Cannot recommend him highly enough. He even gave us slips of paper with more local info. I also love the idea that you pay what you want - if anything it makes you more generous. Thank you Roman!

Our guide met us at our hotel at the appointed time. We began with a driving tour of the city and its neighborhoods. We stopped at the Blue Church, the Russian war memorial, and at the castle the car left us. From there we walked around and through the castle ground, down into the old city stopping briefly at St Michael's Cathedral. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we can to appreciate much of the history and richness of Bratislava's history. We highly recommend this tour.

It was a wonderful guided tour, and I recommend it highly. Jenny is a local native with excellent fluent English skills, and she earned a History degree at Bratislava University. She gave an excellent overview of local history as we traveled, and was able to discuss events in context with other concurrent world events. Definitely the most knowledgeable guide I have ever experienced. Her husband Vladimir was our driver, also fluent in English. They were both very friendly and easy to talk to, and the tour stops were well organized. Devin Castle was very interesting for history buffs, and the historical medieval town of Bratislava provided opportunity for history, shopping, and dining. I will definitely plan to book another tour with Cozy Travel the next time I am in Vienna.

Daniel, our driver, was punctual, friendly and a very safe driver. Our guide, Daniela, was wonderful - offered so much history and insight into life in Bratislava. This is a very interesting city - we are so glad we went on this tour. Highly recommended!!!!

We booked this tour as we were doing a day trip to Bratislava from Vienna. We went on a Saturday so wanted our time to be well spent in a new place.

The tour started exactly at 12pm, so please don't worry if you get there early and the guide isn't there. I called the contact number provided as I was worried I wasn't in the right place, and the lovely lady on the other end reassured me I was and would get in touch with the guide.
We were then greeted by the wonderful Maria. She was extremely knowledgeable of Bratislava and was able to provide facts about a variety of subjects and was able to answer any questions we had.

We were very fortunate that this tour ended up being a private tour as no one else turned up.

The beer tasting was okay. From previous tastings, there is usually a guide who can tell you about the drink and what to look out for etc, however, we were told to find our own seat & then a server provided 3 beers and that was it.

The beer was really good, (coming from a non beer drinker), however, as a beer tasting experience, it was no different to ordering 3 beers at the bar.

Overall, I would recommend this tour as it's a really nice way to see Bratislava, and you have a 'reward' after walking for 2 hours in the sun.
