Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The driver was prompt and knowledgeable. He took us to the Slavin memorial and Bratislava Castle which was convenient so I didn’t have to walk up those hills. Then he dropped us off at Old Town for free time. And since it was such a nice day out he gave us an extra 30 minutes to explore. Overall, I liked the convenience of being picked up at my hotel and driven around to the tourist spots so I didn’t really have to plan anything or take a train. I could just enjoy the trip without stress.

We came over to Bratislava for a day trip from Vienna and had the absolute pleasure of going on a food tour with Tereza. It ended up being just my boyfriend and I in the tour group so we were able to get to know Tereza and hear her story and ask all sorts of questions about her life in Slovakia. We felt like we had run into a long time friend and were just catching up on life.

For our tour, we started with a toast featuring Čučoriedkovica (blueberry brandy) outside the gates of the Prezidentsky Palace, followed by assorted crepes and soups at two local restaurants, a visit to a local grocery store where we tasted cheese and pastries, and ended at a beautiful restaurant in the heart of the old town square where we had latkes, duck confit, and pierogi. Throughout the entire tour we learned about the city’s history and culture. If you’re going to take this food tour, we highly recommend requesting Tereza as your tour guide, we still talk about what a pleasant surprise our tour was.

    Na zdravie!

we decided to spend a few hours in Bratislava, wanting to quickly explore the city. We first walked through the streets of the center and later moved to the riverside. I can only recommend this tour. It was a great experience.

One might think that Bratislava has not a lot to offer for a tourist, but Peter and his company proved it wrong for us. Peter showed us places we would never find on our own, he shared a lot of interesting stories about the city, the country and its history. Another great thing is that the tour is customizable so we could pick whatever was more interesting for us. The weather was not super good, raining, but it was one of the best tour experiences we had. We also visited a cozy local pub with local dishes and Peter brought some home made slivovica to warm myself. Highly recommended! When I visit the country again I would definitely go with Peter on another tour.

We had a great time with Ruger on this tour. Concept is very flexible with attendees’ preferences taken into account. Had some good beers in places we would not have happened into on our own, as well as interesting discussions on Slovak history and politics.

The tour was quite long, we actually had to bail out after three hours, but the time went very fast.

What a brilliant experience, our driver Stephen picked us up promptly at our Hotel at the designated time. Loaded our cases and promptly departed for our transfer to Vienna, stopping in Bratislava for a two hour guided tour. We found Stephen to be very friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable regarding history of Hungary,Slovenia and Vienna. Well worth the price for the transfer and the experience. Highly recommended. Thanks a lot Stephen from the Thomas’s and Griffiths’s.

My wife and I hired a car with an English speaking driver from Vienna to Budapest, Hungary with stop-over in Bratislava. We were charged Euro 200/- one way trip. We found it was cheap because the driver picked us from Vienna hotel and dropped us at Budapest hotel. On top of that, he took us for a walking tour to see the old palace, government buildings and the narrow streets of downtown Bratislava and fantastic Blue Church.

Bratislava is a small city and the whole tour took us only one hour. But it is a nice city with nice friendly people.

Really nice and different experience, nothing we have ever done before. Leaves you laughing with a tiny hint of paranoia being sat in complete darkness. This is something we would definitely do again. I thought my taste was on point until I went here and realised my taste buds are as much use as a chocolate fireguard. Really fun.
