Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This tour was amazing, but our guide Linda was truly the best part. She was friendly and energetic, and was clearly so passionate about her country and Slovak food. Each place she brought us to was thoughtful and delicious, and we tried food we wouldn’t have thought to try otherwise! Linda gave us a lot of background on each dish we tried as well as Slovakian culture. She also completely accommodated my vegetarian diet while still having meat options for the others! I would recommend this foodie tour to everyone who visits Bratislava. Thank you SO much Linda, you were a highlight of our trip!

We were travelling from Amsterdam to Bratislava to Vienna for our Wedding Anniversary and came across Taste Bratislava I can honestly say this was the BEST day of our whole trip Daniela could not have done anything better. We woud never have found the place she took us to, and the food.....WOW Daniela was an excellent guide. She is very knowldgeable about her county and city, its traditions, foods, wines etc. I am a wheelchair user and Daniela changed the rour to take that into account, which for me was just AWESOME!!!! The food and drink we tried were all delicious, and we were stuffed at the end of it all. Daniela also recommened some restaurants and bar for after the tour, for the rest of our trip. They were great. Daniela is the epitome of customer service, we felt valued as customers. She went above and beyond what was expected. I cannot recommend her of this tour highly enough

The tour guide was a little bit late arriving but more than made up for it with a very good tour of a charming European town that is unexpected for travelers used to Western Europe. Part history lesson, part food tour, part sight seeing it was a perfect blend for first time visitors to Bratislava. The weather was chilly and rainy and she also made sure to keep us undercover as much as possible.

Words alone can not do justice regarding our wonderful experience with Linda at Bratislava Food Tours. She was the most thoughtful, knowledgeable, and kind tour guide I have ever met (Slovakia is my 61st country visited and have done many guided tours). The amount and quality of the local food and beer we enjoyed and the variety and number of memorable venues we visited were worth the price of the tour many times over. We had a group of 17 people and she made each one of us feel special and cared for like family members. Linda's English narration is extremely clear. She has such a fun and positive attitude. She not only introduces to fine local beverages and food but also shared so much history and culture of her beautiful country. Our group spent almost 2 weeks in Europe together and our time with Linda was the absolute best part of our trip for many of us. Thank you Linda! We will never forget this experience.

We did the Vegan Food Tour with Linda. She was very knowledgable about all the nice Vegan Places in the city, who serve as well traditional-influences as well as newly created Vegan Food.
Linda is an adorable guide, she is very open hearted, friendly and designed our tour in a way, that we could choose the individual dished during the tour together with her recommendations. That was a new for us, but we found it very nice and interactive.
We've went to 5 places and had a variety of different food and beverages.
We would recommend a tour with Bratislava Food Tours to get to know the city and the food it has to offer!

Great tour! My wife and I had never visited Bratislava before and wanted to play it loose so we didn't schedule any tours ahead of time. We contacted Bratislava Food Tours via their website email and Whatsapp. Linda got back to us super quick and we were on for that night. We met our tour guide Matus at Bratislava Castle with an amazing overlook. He treated us to shots of blueberry and cherry homemade liquer right there and off we went to our next stop, a great hidden restaurant we had walked by the day before and didn't notice. We stopped and had a glass of wine, tried the most amazing pate' and homemade cheese. We then headed down the hill to the next stop for Slovak string cheese. We then headed to a beautiful restaurant that was a converted Soviet playhouse for communist cola (Kofaloa) a shot and soup. We had more shots outside of a local drink, had beers at a really neat local's place that has a rotating tap menu. We then headed to a hidden bar in old-town for Vinea, soviet crisp puffs and some other alcohol. Matus gifted us each bags with a bunch of goodies to remember our trip. We were lucky we got the tour to ourselves and Matus was a wonderful host, his English is perfect and is really knowledgeable about his town. This isn't just a drinks tour, but a food/heavy snacks tour. It was a lot of fun and the highlight of our trip. I'm sure the locations change depending on availability and your experience may differ, but it will be worth it. Slovakian drinking culture is fun and delicious.

We loved the fancy treats here. We've been back for more since! The portions are large, so we took a long time to finish, but we felt completely relaxed and chilled out during the tasting.

I'm not a honey person, but this tasting experience was phenomenal. We were so happy with the warm welcome and information we were able to get about the products. Everything was delicious. We'll be back!
