Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Peter PBratislava, Slovakia38 contributionsI can recommend trip from Stefanova to Velky Rozsutec and back via Janosikove diery to Terchová. Amazing. You need two cars. Public transport is horrible.Written 9 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Antanas M.Vilnius, Lithuania8 contributionsWe were looking for a mountain peak to climb with two smallish children, 4 and 7. With a significant help from the Solisko chairlift, we've made it!
Our children have loved their first ascent, and are already waiting for more. The path up for them was like an interesting game, and they also enjoyed the view. And the descent, well, was even easier.
However, I have to warn that this might be not for everyone. The path is steep, and some places more difficult than the others. The children must be ready for this adventure both physically and mentally (it also means having some discipline!).Written 24 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The real hike begins from there. This pace is not so popular, as the Rysy peak in nearby, but I recommend it, it's a long light walk, only the end is steep. Beautyful natureal sceneries and fantastic panorama. High Tatra mountais, as we love them.Written 25 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Stanka S1 contributionThe Tomášovský výhľad is the most visited place in the Slovak Paradise, it attracts tourists especially for great photos on the rock, and we were no exception. The hike is not difficult, the journey takes about 30 minutes of walking, so it is suitable for all age groups. It's worth seeing!Written 10 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- BleaklowSheffield, UK80 contributionsAn excellent ski resort with two long red/blue runs, a worthy black run and a decent learner slope. Lifts good quality with the main one being six seater with heated seats. Has adequate options for food on the slopes too.Written 22 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kristjana B9 contributionsWow just wow! This was the highlight of our two week trip to Slovakia from Iceland, hands down! ❤️
We arrived at the base of the trail and rented gear to be able to climb up, we both got helmets and harnesses.
The staff were both easy going and super helpful with our questions regarding what we were about to embark on.
The walk up to the climbing portion was beautiful with high trees and a sizzling river alongside the path.
When we arrived to the climbing part of the trail it was time to strap in and enjoy the ride, adventure like an Indiana Jones movie mixed with adrenaline and smiles 😁
When we arrived at the top we were met with a smile and two mountain bikes we could then rent and ride back to the bottom of the mountain, 12km later we were down, left the bikes and helmet behind and went away with smiles on our faces and pride in our hearts for completing a 5 hour long adventure to remember forever 🥳Written 12 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - endrju_74Ipswich, UK4,837 contributionsApparently it all has started as a private project, when in 1870 Józef Szalaj, owner of Szczawnica, started construction of a road right on east bank of river Dunajec. He's done a small part from Szczawnica (Grajcarek stream) to the Lesnica stream, and the rest of it was built by Academy of Learning from Krakow. Only the northern beginning is in Poland, the rest of it - the very most of it was built in, what was then Hungary, now it is Slovakia. But still - whole project was designed, paid and built with Polish money and labour, so I think it is important to give Polish name of this place: Droga Pienińska, as the name in the title of this TripAdvisr attraction is in Slovak. Road follows Dunajec river from Szczawnica to Czerwony Klasztor (Cerveny klastor), and can be used as a retourn trip after rafting on Dunajec, but only for those, who rafted with Slovakian entrepreneurs, as Polish rafting trail is much longer. Also it can be combined with much more tiring trip across Pieniny ridge, from Czerwony Klasztor to Leśnica (the village), and then down the stream to the starting point. Superb views of surrounding mountains with rock walls, but watched in own pace, with no rush of the speed of the river current, when you rafting. Only problem for us was overcrowding and mix of pedestrians and cyclists, which lead to some dangerouos situations, but luckily nothing has ever happened.Written 28 February 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
