Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Beautiful place and awesome for those who enjoy historical buildings. There are cruise boats around and I'd recommend an evening cruise, when the parliament is lit up and beautiful

It’s like Disneyland in this area of Budapest. The views are amazing. Do not miss. Definitely recommend the elec mini cart buses at 10euro each. Saves a LOT of walking

Gorgeous building, tickets to enter are available in a small shop just round the corner for a reasonable price (free for disabled plus on companion).

This area would take a couple of days to properly look round. It’s smart, clean. It’s a bit Disney with history. Huge amount of renovations going on. I’ll be sure to return when it’s done!

Hosted Margaret island after a recommendation from a tour guide we had. We walked from one end to the other with a few stops in-between. Unfortunately it started to rain lots as we may of seen more but what we did see we absolutely loved! Lots of pretty flowers and gardens. Lots to see and so from a spa, pubs, cafes, musical fountain which would me lovely at night! Great place to visit and would recommend if visiting Budapest especially if the weather is right!

Great views over Budapest and the Danube. Worth the climb (which really isn’t that bad!). It was a shame the monument wasn’t open.

This bridge is currently being renovated so much of its beauty is obscured. The lions that proudly guarded each end have been removed for safekeeping while the bridge itself is repaired and refinished.

There is so much to see on the hill where Buda Castle is. This is just one of the lovely spots. The roof is especially beautiful. Lovely walk around

This area was reduced to rubble during World War Two, but over the past several decades this historic district has been rebuilt in a fashion reminiscent of the original. The district is packed with points of interest, beautiful buildings, and many vantage points offer panoramic views of the Danube River and Pest which stretch out below.

AMAZING and not to be missed. I took my teens along to show them my "gaming" past life and a great time was had by all. It is mind boggling all the machines here and not just pinball but all the classics. Honestly it is a brilliant way to spend a few hours. It does get loud so if you have anyone in your group that is sensitive to noise then I suggest they bring along some noise cancelling headphones or ear buds. The gentleman at the cash desk is super friendly and kind. AND if by chance you really have time to kill then you can re-enter as many times as you like that day. If you have kids I highly recommend going when it opens at 4 as it does get busier later on. Hats off the the owner who has done a great job. Once you pay admission you don't need coins of tokens for the machines just rock up and play. We even got t-shirts! (this is conveniently located just a few minutes walk from Westend Shopping Mall)

This museum is literally set into the rock, and is amazing in its scale. The history behind this place makes it worth a visit alone, but additionally we found our 60 minute tour to be very informative, and we found the wax sculptures in the hospital itself very amusing. If you are going to Budapest, go here for a fun lesson in the city’s history.
