Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It was a fun way to end our night. Kids loved it and we also enjoyed.
Many old pinball machines that are all able to be played with other arcades as well. All the games are included with your admission ticket. No need to get the skips the line pass as it was quite empty.

You can spend an hour or 2 easily there, maybe more.

We had a very interesting guided tour about the hospital. I am no history buff but I really enjoyed learning about the function of the hospital . One slight criticism is that they do let slightly too many people on the tours, could be hard to hear at the back

Nice traditional bulding, an interesting tour with fancy chocolates. We came with a gift coupon, took part with a group of 15-20 people. It was wholesome. Recommended!

Nice fresh produce and very friendly people come together every Sunday for this very social farmers market. It’s definitely a highlight on Budapest trip

The venue is awesome! This place is an actual 13th century monastery! The owner has captured an unique wine tasting experience! Small and intimate! Highly recommend!

We enjoyed it very much! Nice, long and slow ride for 1400ft (both ways price). Birds singing, trees around and the best view you can get after climbing 100 steps.

Would recommend this place, in a great part (Buda side) of Budapest, excellent way to spend an hour or two, not big but plenty to read and the guide was very informative. Topped off by a magic show which was incredible and funny.

My partner specialised in the Soviet Union and Stalinism at University so was in her element!! Fantastic display of history. It’s great that this part of the Hungarian history hasn’t been squashed and forgotten. Very easy to get to by bus

Got to the gallery and the garden while a typical touristic walk on the castle hill shortly after I moved to Budapest. Interesting artwork and the atmosphere make me go back every now and then. Every time do not feel like leaving at all. Just missing one little thing - a coffee machine in the garden (but then, who would leave at all).
    Great views.

In the summertime, this place is PACKED with people - almost all Hungarian. This isn't a super-touristy thing to do. It's far from the city center, but it's absolutely worth it!
We walked through the park and made our way up to the tower and then took the chair lift down. The walk is not tiring, but relaxing as the trail winds and curves through the park. There are several fantastic playgrounds for kids.
Once you reach the chair lift, you can walk or take stairs to the tower and the view is absolutely worth it!
Be sure to buy a chimney cake (kurtoskalacs) for your trip down the hillside.

Interesting museum, about the old Roman settlement ruins next to the Sziget island. It has a small indoor museum with different artifacts from the ruins, and a larger outdoor one with larger objects. There are various information signs around the area, that explain what type of building the ruin once was.
It is worth spending a few hours. There is a children offer at the last Sunday of each month at a reduced price. Check out their own website for updated info.

Very nice place, even for disabled people. Beautiful flowers, clean and nice area. View.. A bit strange, because at the near old houses, and buildings all over, but the panorama is nice. You can see the Parliament building as well.

We came across this interesting sculpture by chance when walking to dinner one evening. It's a very nicely done piece of street sculpture depicting the 'einstand', a bullying scene from the youth novel “The Paul Street Boys” written by the Hungarian author Ferenc Molnar in 1906. A very popular piece of literature in Hungary where it is considered as a 'classic', and it is also one of the most famous Hungarian novels outside of the country. The novel is about schoolboys in the Józsefváros neighbourhood of Budapest and set in 1889.

We went up to check out the view of the city. Spectacular 360 view. A nice experience walking into the woods. The Elizabeth fortress is highly recommend, either stepping around 550 stairs or through the main trail. The local dish Langosh is a traditional one
