Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

True, this is just one of many impressive streets in Budapest but I wouldn’t want to have missed out on it.

One of the things we noticed about the city‘s the variety of buildings of different ages and heritage. This brings a vibrancy and individuality to Budapest so we just walked in walked for hours around the city.

This place has some pretty decent bars and restaurants to provide refreshments for all your efforts!

This Opera House is one of the most beautiful ones we’ve ever seen… Only second to Palais Garnier in Paris. We took the English tour and it was a good experience. I only wish the organizers didn’t do multiple tours a minute after the previous. This makes it for a very convoluted and disorganized system where the groups run into each other with very little continuity and a nice flow. For this reason I didn’t give 5 stars.

A very interesting museum, covering a very dark period of history for Hungary
The museum was slightly unnerving in areas, adding the the dark history of the building
Everything written on the walls is in Hungarian, however if you look for pieced of paper to collect in most rooms, they offer an overview in English

Small train and network. I found it simple and effective. Trains look old but well preserved. Had no issues moving around the city

If you like photos, this museum is recommended. Many photos on display, few descriptions, but when there is a photo well done, that's enough.

This long grassed esplanade stretches from Mozsar to Kiraly street, with many restaurant's and night spots, we love it as it is pedestrianised which is always a plus, there is plenty of seating to enjoy the tranquility, with many statues/monuments/sculptures, to enjoy, again a plus.

This is a small museum dedicated to Franz Liszt. The museum contains some of his works and his piano and is where he once lived.
If you like classical music it's worth going to, but if you aren't that interested you may find it less so.

We happened to be walking past so stuck our heads in to look at the railway station. It felt very Eastern European and the locos reminded me of the Top Trumps I played with my brother as a kid.

Located out the front of the “Terror House”, is this very poignant sculpture, depicting the repression of the states behind the iron curtain.
