There are two different aspects of the Jewish Quarter - the historical aspect and the eating/drinking part. I liked both. If you are interested in the history of the area I would highly recommend a guided tour of some sort - otherwise you will miss many hidden treasures. The Dohány Street Synagogue is a must see - second largest synagogue in the world with the history behind it. If you're not interested in the history, it's a hopping place for restaurants, shopping and drinking. Lots of "Ruin" bars (trendy and fun) as well as specialty bars for polinka, vodka and craft beers.
