A must when visiting Budapest, we booked online a few days before arrived just after 9am, not busy showed our online ticket and went straight through. We booked 2 tickets with a cabin, which I think is a must, much easier than just a looker. The whirlwind pool is a must, amazing feeling as especially only a few of us there at the time. Inside pools are a bit busier and the smell was a bit off putting. Enough sun loungers dotted around, to enjoy the warm June sun.
Lovely little shop/kiosk selling drinks etc a bit pricey but worth it. Would go again if had the chance.
Remember your own towels and flip flops very expensive to buy.

The beer spa was great! We skipped the long queues for tickets for the main spa and were taken into a special area, shown our changing cabin and then into the beer spa room. There were 4 baths set up, but it was quite dark lighting so even though there were 3 other couples in the room it still felt quite private. Loved the bubbly water and wooden bath and it was great fun pulling your own pints of beer!! After the 45 mins were up we went on to enjoy all of the other facilities in the spa complex!

Excellent premium experience. Very clean, friendly staff. Not very crowded and felt exclusive at a reasonable price.

This small spa is often the spa of choice for Hungarians rather than foreign visitors. I came with friends who wanted wellness treatments, I am not interested in spas myself, and they were impressed with the pools and the quality of the massages they received. I had a day pass so that I could wait for them in the cafe but I was not impressed that I needed to pay for a day pass when all I wanted was to sit and read in the downstairs cafe. But this is fairly normal here. Only the Rudas baths have a cafe at the entrance. Food was basically sandwiches but they were fresh and fairly appetising. Very helpful at the information desk, less so at the ticketing booths as not many staff speak any language other than Hungarian. This can be a problem when trying to negotiate different wellness treatments. It is a very nice spa, though, and a visit can easily be combined with a walk up the Rozsadomb to the Gul Baba tomb, then on to Obuda (a few stops on the tram) to the Sushi Sei restaurant. Or to explore Obuda itself .

We went to the Aquaworld on Monday, and the place was almost empty. Moreover, you get a full day access for a three hours ticket.
We had a great day there, although there are only limited slides for yunger kids. Almost all slides are allowed to 130 cm hight kids, so 7 years old may mostly enjoy only pools.
And, for some reason, the slides have annoying scheduled open times. Just keep them all open!

It was definitely a pretty space, however not quite worth the price tag (although perhaps this is why they're closing for a refurbishment). One good thing I would say about the booking is that before we arrived, I emailed asking if I could change the date due to seeing the weather forecast, and they were very accommodating and able to change this for me with no issue.

A warning to any non-Hungarian/ first time guests, the signage and explanations around the spa aren't particularly clear. We were expected to know how the cabin locks worked etc. when there were no instructions around - turns out you have to go to the front desk where they'll set your wristband up with a cabin you've selected.
Also we'd read about a wave pool but couldn't find this while we were there which was a shame. In total we were probably there for about 2 hours, although 30 mins of that was trying to get in and figure out the lockers!

If I were going again, I'd advise ensuring that you have EVERYTHING with you before you turn up - this isn't like a UK spa where towels/slippers are provided. Take towels, flip flops, robes if you want them, and swimming caps if you want to go into the main indoor swimming pool. We didn't take a towel and so had to pay ~£20 for a flimsy towel and one pair of mandatory flip flops. Also don't bother booking a 'cabin' as there are private changing spaces by the lockers anyway.

As this spa was only about a 10/15 minute walk from my hotel I went midweek after 5pm when it is slightly cheaper entry but still paid extra for access to the outdoor pools and sauna world. Plenty of rows of lockers but communal and didn't see any single sex areas for getting changed.
Inside area bit busier than outside. Actually got to do a little swimming in the slightly cooler outdoor pool as there were only a few people in it. The warmer one was very nice to relax in and be able to look up at the stars and moon though getting out the air temperature was pretty cold so couldn't stay exposed for too long.

Fun night but entry was too expensive. Did not encounter violent bouncers but girls in our group were groped. Additionally, the bath water gets into drinks and made some of our group quite ill the next day. Also your flip flops may be stolen, bring ones you don't mind losing.

Budapest is the place for thermal water. Paskal bath is a newly refurbished bath in Budapest, in a neighbourhood, so you cannot get the historical buildings and feeling of the city. It has a very logical built setup- separate children area with 2 pools, a bit sparated area for wellness ( geothrmal sauna as well, loved it) and also an outside pool area. The food is very basic, so do not fancy for something very special. Being a neighbourhood facility, it is also a great place to see how people from Budapest get a bit of cill-out.

I used to like this place, but it is getting worse and worse. Not enough maintanance. Each time we visit less service is available. As it is said for some time the sauna at the pool and the elevators are not working…it used to be a good place to relax.

We visited this bath after visiting all five well-known baths of Budapest before. We were unpleasantly surprised when it appeared that no sauna is included in the ticket, It was not clearly designated on the site, it should have been written clearly in the information for each type of the available tickets. Approximately like this: lockers, indoor and outdoor pools are included. Saunas are not included.
Why is it needed? Because general practice is to include sauna use in the ticket,

We came to Budapest for healing, and this was highly unpleasant and spoiled the experience of otherwise not a bad thermal bath.
I hope the administration will pay more attention to clearly designating what is available. And includes sauna use in the ticket as everywhere else in Budapest.
Be attentive if you don't want to pay extra.

The Spa department of the Hotel is under the ground. It was a little too small, but that was clear and peacefully. They have one sauna and two steam bath cabins.
