What travellers are saying
- Harrison F. CarterCologne, Germany10,426 contributionsA short walk along the hillside and this wonderful building appears... And it is very popular, so many people taking photos. Plus, it offers wonderful views to the river and across it...Written 26 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- David255057Canberra, Australia150 contributionsWe walked down to the market from our hotel located on the Danube. It was an easy walk and we enjoyed the early morning experience. It is an interesting building. Stalls were just opening. We tried a langos . Not my favourite thing to eat. My wife bought a t shirt for the gym. I think the food and meat on offer were very good. Struck me as a very clean market. Go upstairs for clothing and souvenirs.Written 17 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Luise R20 contributionsNice fresh produce and very friendly people come together every Sunday for this very social farmers market. It’s definitely a highlight on Budapest tripWritten 2 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- HospitalitySearchBudapest, Hungary101 contributionsGot to the gallery and the garden while a typical touristic walk on the castle hill shortly after I moved to Budapest. Interesting artwork and the atmosphere make me go back every now and then. Every time do not feel like leaving at all. Just missing one little thing - a coffee machine in the garden (but then, who would leave at all).
Great views.Written 27 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Shahrzad shIran2,236 contributionsI think it is a good shopping center. It is both modern and has good shops. There you can find a food court in the basement. There are various restaurants and cafes for all tastes here. Sure after a purchase For a long time you will be hungry !!!😜😜Written 8 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- OZS_ATWBudapest, Hungary2,383 contributionsThis mall is close to the Eastern Railway Station.
The mall is big and spacoius and you can find nearly all brands in there.Written 20 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - patraveller2007Philadelphia, PA1,025 contributionsLehel Market is 3 stops on the M-3 from central Budapest. Unlike the Central Market, this market is mainly used by locals. Almost none of the merchants speak a language other vthan their own. Prices are much lower than in the center of Budapest. Lots of bakeries, butchers and produce vendors. Truly gives you the flavor of the local culture.Written 15 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- DysprozWarsaw, Poland85 contributionsA very nice place to visit, but there's not a lot of interesting things to buy. It's more a stones and tacky souvenirs market. However, there's a lot of interesting bars and restaurants to try.Written 14 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Ron MDen Helder, The Netherlands14 contributionsI was there on a Wednesday afternoon. Unfortunately a lot of the stalls were closed. Those who were opened however had some nice things to display. From military stuff to old toys to furniture. A lot of things you can find there. If you are looking for a extraordinary souvenir I think you will find it there.Written 15 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- JnVSydneyGreater Sydney, Australia14,107 contributionsLocated just down the road fro where we were staying is this medium sized mall, which has more of a covered market feel about it than the malls we are use to, it had all the usual suspects as well as a food court, all in all very handy Whilst we were in the area.Written 26 April 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
