Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Busy place with lots of visitors. Well organised. Possibilities for guided tour if we wished so. Important piece of history worthy of your time.

I found Lost Souls Alley on trip advisor whilst planning my solo trip to Krakow and really wanted to visit. However, whilst reading the “rules” on their website I wasn’t sure whether to try it with being a woman on my own and I definitely didn’t want to go in alone! I called in at Lost Souls Alley (which is in the very centre of the old town) to see what was what. Despite putting the address in Google maps it’s hard to find. It’s not very well signposted and you have to go down an alleyway and up a flight of stairs to find the reception. The guy was very helpful and explained that 6 people are allowed per booking, so if I looked online for a time slot that had less than 6 spaces it would mean that someone else had already booked that slot. The booking system is my only complaint regarding LSA. I wanted to book the green version but it turns out you can only book pink/green and on arrival the whole group must decide which version they want to do. So if you turn up on the day and the other people outnumber you, you either have to cancel or do a version that you don’t want to! I booked a particular time slot for the following day but later received a phone call from LSA. They had noted that I was British but I’d booked on a time slot with Polish people. They offered me another time slot with English speaking people. I really appreciated the call and accepted the change of time slot but it makes me wonder why they don’t offer Polish/English/other language options on their booking system? The experience itself was amazing and very scary. Don’t expect too much in terms of “escape room” experiences. It’s very basic in so much as you’re usually looking for a key or way to escape the room. It’s more about the fear than challenging puzzles 🫣 It’s very dark and if you’re doing the green (hands on) experience the actors will touch you and try to separate you from the group but they won’t hurt you! I don’t want to give too much away, but the first room is probably the scariest because it’s pitch black and you don’t know what to expect. After that it becomes more scarily fun! The website warns that you might get injured. I scraped my arm and hand whilst running away from actors, but that was my own doing. I found it funny that the guy at reception had an antiseptic spray to hand so minor injuries are obviously common. You can pay a small amount to get photos of your experience shared on Flickr. You get a password and after 4 days you can access CCTV stills from your experience. It’s clear that no thought has gone into choosing these stills as they’re not the best images, but as you get over 100 images it’s reasonable value for money. The experience itself is 5 stars and I’d definitely do it again and recommend it to others. The booking system could do with some improvements and I don’t know why they don’t signpost themselves better from the street as they’d probably get more ad hoc bookings.

This was a truly unique experience, my eyes (?) were truly opened. The blind exhibition was so accommodating as they were able to make a last minute change for a tour in English for me (I was late to my start time!). I’m much more aware of my surroundings in ways I wasn’t before. I loved how interactive it was, experiencing life in the dark, as if I was blind.

The light exhibition was truly amazing as well, and I loved how interactive everything was - I was able to play instruments made from lasers and even a Theremin! (admittedly not well). I would highly recommend for anyone who likes fun and play really! Suitable for kids as well as adults (I had lots of fun and was by myself)

We loved our visit here! We learned so much and will definitely reccomend this to anyone coming to Krakow. The museum is small and I would highly recommend doing the guided tour with the workshop. Lucyna was our guide and she was so knowledgeable and helpful! With the workshop we got to create our own stained glass pieces and really loved the whole experience.

We loved it here. They have a wide variety of pinball machines and even a few arcade games. It was great value for money and also a nice break from the heat as it was lovely and cool inside.

After exploring the Old Town Square, we stumbled across Muzeum Krakowa (given that it’s based under the main building and ticket office on the other side of the building), we paid approx. £10 each for entry into the museum. In the ticket office, there is a coin souvenir machine for a small takeaway before entering the museum.

Entering the museum is easy enough however keeping track of each exhibition is not so thus we had a good explore of the museum itself and each exhibition which includes relics of the past (combs, jewellery etc.), a floor map of medical trade routes, videos and interactive digital booklets which shed light on the history of the city.

There are also mock graves, wells with skeletons and utensils, and 3D models of what the medieval city looked like, along with large sections of road which shows how each era built for carriages to travel.

There was a tour guide which I stuck close to at points as they further expanding on the lore of the city in enthusiastic and engaging dialogue.

The entire museum takes around 2+ hours to fully complete which ends with a series of mini-cinema rooms showing how the museum was built and constructed in the early 2000s, and finished with a small gift shop.

We spent 3 hours here midweek and really enjoyed it. We got there for opening and the man who served us for wristbands was really nice.

Great selection of games and machines.

This is a fabulous museum. It's a timed entry, and then you can go through at your own pace. It's not huge, but it's fascinating. Don't miss the tiny globe from 1510 with the first representation of the Americas. The actual globe is in the Copernicus room, in the glass cabinet, and there is also a model that is much bigger and easier to see.

Fabulous and affordable museum visit! I had some time to kill before my flight so came here, and I was not disappointed.

The reception was so lovely and kept my suitcase so I could go around the museum without it! Would highly recommend, many different forms of modern art - even if the new exhibit wasn’t open

Very impressive site and quick to visit. Probably a more significant site than the time most would spend there. Certainly a must though.

We went in randomly just to check it out and the owner himself give us a tour of everything! Answered all of our questions and gave us examples and was very interesting and accommodating. Would recommend this as it doesn’t take very long and the owner is happy to help.
