Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had done lost souls alley about 5 years ago and plucked up the courage to do it again a few weeks ago, absolutely loved it again, we chose the green version and dread to think what the scarier ones were like!

There was a bit that was very claustrophobic and after quite some screaming and pleading they released us.

Not for the faint hearted but they express this multiple times in their website.

The only injures we received were self inflicted (running into each other/walls) 😆

Do it! You won't regret it!

That was an exellent interactive museum experience. The staff was friendly enough to show you the right direction, as there was quite an amount to see, to touch, to try, from the ancient times till the modern. You can not only watch a lot and read a lot about the history, but also you can measure your hight and weight in the medieval units, that was fun.
Please note that the tickets office is located on the opposite side of the buildings block and is closed earlier that the museum itself. We failed to get in for the first day, and succeed from the second try.

It is one of the greates aviation museum in Poland, with really great exhibition collection. There are one main hangar with lots stuff (planes, helicopters), also smaller hangar for First World War exhibitions (really climatic), and big fields with bigger plane like "migs avenue"
It better to go in sunny day - becasue lots of planes are just standing on the field.
Only to some plane you can go inside (it was 3 or 4 as during my visit)

Took the English speaking tour today. We got a very warm welcome in the ticket area and it is a nice place for a coffee before the tour starts. We learned a lot. The guide gave a very informative and interesting tour. She was kind and mindful to help the more elderly members of the group. The glass is beautiful.

If you're a fan of contemporary art, I definitely recommend! Really aesthetic building with cool exposition that covers modern-day issues in society but also pleases the eye. People are great, gift shop is great and there's also nice coffe place in the building (you get discount for coffee if you purchase the ticket). Must see for modern art lovers !

A unique and eye- and even ear-catching place. It's good just to come in and look around. The museum exhibition is also very interesting and interesting.

Really interesting museum. We went on a Wednesday when it is free so even better. There are only a few rooms but lots of things to read and videos to watch. All in Polish and English too.

We visited Barbican during a Medieval Festival to see historic dances from many parts of the world, knight fights and other traditions. Great fun in a scenic place.

National Museum in Cracow (The Main Building) houses at present exclusively The Gallery of Decorative Art, which is extremely interesting but a little bit disappointing if you expected to see paintings by Wyspianski, Mehoffer, Chelmonski and Boznanska and other Polish masters. I’ve learned at the box offfice (but at the museum website), that the paintings cannot be seen now because they are in the storehouse.

Our whole trip from UK was based around this place! Lived up to expectations. It must be a very difficult job keeping these machines running but almost all were working perfectly. Good coffee and snacks to keep you going all day. My 6 year old had a great time with the light gun games. Excellent memories.

Very good museum giving context behind the history Kraków, focused mainly on the Market Square.

    PROS
    - Mix of artefacts, videos, interactive screens (available in multiple languages), and information boards.
    - Very good videos summarising the history of Kraków (with English subtitles), toward the end of the museum.
    - Toilets mid-way through the museum.

    CONS
    - 180° film was more artistic than informative, which most people didn't seem to engage with.

I was fortunate enough to visit this museum while they had the Home Sweet Home exhibit. This is the story of Richard Ores, told by him, his family, and his photos/videos through the years. He survived the holocaust and became a successful American doctor. This exhibit was very powerful and I had to sit for a minute after i walked through it.
I also then walked through the Traces of Memory exhibit which has done of the most arresting photography I have ever seen. It is a fascinating look at Jewish culture before, during, and after the holocaust. It ends on a lively collection of celebratory and hopeful photographs of the polish Jewish community today.
If you are able to see the home sweet home exhibit while it is there please go. It was one of the best exhibits I've ever seen.
