Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Galeria Bukowski KatowiceKatowice, Poland5 contributionsA historic workers' estate from the early 20th century, which captivates with its unique architecture and atmosphere. A walk through the red brick buildings is a journey through time.Written 25 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Anna GKatowice, Poland49 contributionsI also recommend visiting this place from the inside (e.g. during an event, because it is not open every day). Very well organized. I always have very good memories of the events organized there (often at very affordable prices). There is also a large ice rink at the back, which I like to visit.Written 2 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Grzegorz SKatowice, Poland56 contributionsIf You have a chance to visit the place - You should definitely do it and enjoy both beauty of the building and its interior as well as acoustics which are definitely one of the best in Europe! It's very popular and busy - so tickets for major events are selling quickly. You should look for them in advance!Written 7 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Iza Ż1 contributionThe best place to visit on any occasion! Great atmosphere, impressive collection and lots of interesting information. Mister Leszek takes real care to entertain his guests. He's really passionate about music and made my boyfriend want to start to play again.Written 20 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rosie TLeatherhead, UK172 contributionsWe wanted to take a day train trip from Krakow and, having looked at the InterCity timetable, decided on Katowice (about an hour away). So glad we did, what a lovely city centre and wonderful Galeria for shopping. However, the highlight for us was the Museum of the History of Katowice. The middle floor has fascinating examples of middle class and upper class apartments from the 1900s. We were given information sheets in English, as a tour guide wasn’t available. The top floor has the history of Katowice itself with interesting exhibits and information provided in both Polish and English. About a mile from the train station, very quiet when we visited. You are requested to leave backpacks in the cloakroom. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting this lovely city.Written 27 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - John MNew York City, NY811 contributionsAtmospheric memorial commemorating those who took part in the Silesian Uprisings of 1919, 1920, and 1921. The backdrop depending on where you are facing is the UFO-like Spodek arena. Otherworldly feeling vibe.Written 30 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- JonDoe04134Umeå, Sweden4,310 contributionsLocated in a historical building, formerly the liveliest part of the local mine. Now exhibiting thought-provoking and hugely interesting art. Make sure to go up the stairs too and see some of the amazing paintings of the local genious Erwin Sówka.Written 20 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jošt K35 contributionsIn the afternoon there is a lot of places to have a snack or to sit down and have a coffee. The arhitecture is nice.
