First off I will say that we didn't have the best weather, so there were parts of the tour that we couldn't take full advantage of - this is obviously out of everyone's control so won't mark down the tour for that.
We were collected and guided by Ondrej, a proper character. Very worldly, naturally he has met many people and has a catalogue of stories to tell. He was great fun! He took us first to Bastei bridge which, thankfully, the weather cleared up for and wow. Breathtaking views across rock formations and of course the bridge. Unfortunately after this the weather took a turn for the worse and we weren't able to visit anything else on the itinerary. Instead we were taken to some caves some of them were pretty narrow, I literally crawled through one of them on my front like army boot camp, and it was loads of fun! It was really high up and had it not been foggy I'm sure the view would have been incredible; instead it was a pure brilliant white sky all around, it felt like being above the clouds. There were a few steps during the first part of our journey which don't think many people would have a problem with, however the second part did have quite a few pretty treacherous rock steps which I did struggle with a bit.
We then went to a local restaurant serving Czech and German food. There is a budget per person so if you want to add anything extra take some euros with you (remember, it's in Germany).
Personally wouldn't recommend bringing children along, especially if you visit the caves, as there are a lot of steep drops with no railings or warnings.
This tour is pretty cheap compared to its competitors and the communication with the tour company was great :)
