We went for an easy peasy stroll at Angolasters Lake in Sunday under stunning blue skies and amazing views all around, the lake is halfway frozen but the 2 hours stroll on flat with a bit of hilly parts was what we needed. Some of us had crampons put on since the some parts of the path were icy due to too many people use the path and parts of the trail are not in the sun. I thought it was it was ok without crampons but best to be safe than sorry.

We were lucky enough to have a local friend take us to this hidden gem. A time capsule of how a local peasant family would live in the late 19th C in a very lovingly preserved 18th C home.
Robert brings to life each floor with his passion, knowledge of local history-and humor! Plan ahead by visiting the website for opening times and try to combine with the lovely nearby church of Sant Miguel

Museu Nacional de l'Automobil is a museum with some floors located in Encamp Town, in Andorra la Vella. It is a very interesting museum, where you can know the history of the cars in Andorra (the first to cross the border from France, some curious cars, some government cars, some competitions in the country or the evolution of the license plates in the country). Very curious and interesting. Also, you can hear an audio guide, where some of the cars and their history is explained. Very curious museum.

Port d'Envalira is a Mountain pass located just before El Pas de la Casa, a town in Andorra close to the border with France. From this Mountain pass, you can see wonderful views of Mountains of Andorra and specially Pessons Cirque (in fact, there is a lookout), a glacial mountain formation and Grau Roig ski station. Also, you can see awesome views of the valley if you see to France. Really a fantastic place to drive by car or other means of transport and enjoy a lot with views.

Camí del Circ de Pessons is a trail located near El Pas de.la Casa, one of the towns of Andorra, the little country of Pyrenees. In fact, the trail links the ski station called Grau Roig and the Pessons Peak (in the Cirque of Pessons). During the trail, you can see a lot of nature, some wonderful lakes, and awesome views of the Pessons Mountains and surroundings. really it is a fantastic hike, which follows a GR pathwalk. The first part until the last lake, it is not very difficult, because it does not have much uneveness (we found some snow at the end of May). The last part, we.could not do due to snow it has a lot of uneveness to go up the mountain. A top in the country!

Museum of Electricity is a little museum located in Encamp Parish, in Andorra Country. In fact, it is located in the hydroelectric power station, which uses water from Engolasters Lakes. Here you can learn about the history of development of roads and electricity in the 20th Century of Andorra, so how Andorra is converted in a modern country. Also, you can see few objects related with electricity, a temporal exposition with some photos of country (May-2023), a real turbine works and an interactive room. Also, the staff was very friendly with us and at the beginning of the visit she explained us a summary of all thing we could see in the museum. Very interesting engineering museum.

The lake and the surrounding areas are absolutely beautiful and a great place for a walk, it’s clearly stated that swimming in the lake is not allowed, so you may be disappointed if you go all the way there with hopes of making a splash.
Also worth noting - although there’s a hiking trail from Andorra La Vella up to the lake, it’s quite a difficult one at times, so make sure you go prepared!

Go there on a nice sunny day and you'll enjoy it a lot. The water in this lake is very clear and you can go around it enjoying the views of the surrounding mountains. You van lie in the sun to relax and, why not, try the cold water with your feet-

Funicamp is a cable car located in Encamp, one of seven regions in Andorra, the little country of the Pyrenees. We visited this place with my daughter 6 years old the last summer and she enjoyed a lot, so we come here again at the beginning of April. We take the cable car and go to the top of the mountain: wonderful views and my 7 years daughter enjoyed again a lot. Also, at the top there was snow, so she was playing and seeing the views. After, we go to the bar to drink something and take a lot of photos with my daughter. When we go down, also we stopped at the middle of the trail and did a walk to a little suspension bridge and we arrived to the little river. We bathed our feet and playing a lot in this site. Really, a fantastic to come with children in summer or in spring!

I live in Andorra and had never visited this gorgeous ancient little church open to the public with no charge! Fabulous views from the porch too. You can take a walk through the charming village of les Bons to get there or drive to an outdoor car park 5m walk away from the church. Easily accessible. If you want to hike, as I did, you can continue up the mountain too!!!

The stone church of Encamp with a romanesque tower, one of possible UNESCO inscriptions in the future. It's worth a visit if you're walking around Encamp - quite easy to find.
