    Green Oasis
    Lovely park for a short ramble with paths to the Jordan spring. Kids play area and trampolines. Mist spray area to help alleviate hay fever. Arminius spring nearby for a health-giving drink and not far away is the Liborius spring where you can take a paddle to refresh your tired legs.

    Review of: Westfalen-Therme
    Will certainly return after upgrade of the sauna facilities
    The sauna complex is divided over three floors. The second floor which is also the entrance is the main floor. It contains the most sauna's (different temperatures), an outer cold pool, a steam bath, two small pools and changing rooms /lockers.
    There is also the access to the adjacent swimming pools and a bar facility with limited opening hours.
    The 3rd floor is partly renovated with a nice lounge, a hot pool and an outside area.
    The ground floor needs a complete upgrade which we understood was planned already.
    In general the sauna were reasonably big but the interior was cut in such a way that seating on the lower and middle benches were rather limited. For the occasional sauna user, the benches in the roof of the sauna were often too hot especially during an 'aufguss'.
    The Thermen also offer massages (not to be mixed up with the massage salon in the Vital Hotel!). The massage itself was excellent.
    We look forward to the upgrade of the sauna's especially those on the ground floor.
    The combination of the Thermen/sauna complex with the Vital Hotel next door is recommandable due to the direct access.

    Review of: Kaiser-Karls park
    Beautiful park with a large variety of presentations
    I was amazed at how large this park was. There are well groomed areas with fountains and flowers and other areas with walking paths and large trees. Areas for children to play and places to just sit and think. Something for everyone!

    Review of: Bistro Karlsquelle
    Great food
    We have eaten here many times, the food is of a good quality and the decor is lovely, well furnished and in the Summer, its great to enjoy a beer outside
