Took the day trip to the Cliffs and Moher, and we had Gary as our tour guide! He was very knowledgeable about Ireland and of course the Cliffs of Moher. We would recommend this trip to anyone who is leaving out of the Galway Citu area.

Definitely worth every cent! Not only are the Cliffs of Moher just stunning to look at, the other stops are also well worth a visit and make for some nice photographs. We got plenty of time at all the stops to enjoy the scenery and take everything in before we had to get back to the bus. Our guide, John, had plenty of interesting facts about Ireland and the region, which made the journey all the more enjoyable. 10/10 would do the same tour again.

I did the day tour to the Cliffs of Moher from Dublin on May 12, 2022, and it was AMAZING!

Richard O'Brien was our driver/guide, and I cannot praise him enough! He was HILARIOUS, very kind, and you could tell that he genuinely cared that we had great experiences on our tour with him. I felt that I learned a lot about Ireland from Richard during our time together, and he made the time fly by!

I really appreciated that Richard gave us options to switch up our experiences during the tour, which made our trip feel very unique and special, and not just another run of the mill tourist trip. Richard often checked in with us to make sure we were doing okay, and that we were having a great time.

I'm so, so, SO glad that I decided to do this trip, and would recommend it to anyone thinking about doing it!

Bottom line: 10/10 would do again, and I would LOVE to do another tour with Richard in the future!!! Does he do any of the other day trips?!?!

Aidan was a terrific driver and tour guide. Highly recommend. Weather turned out well but recommended to bring a poncho to be safe.

Amazing experience with so many great memories. It was only a small group of us on the tour which made for a really friendly and sociable environment. Dan (our driver) was so friendly and knowledgeable and made sure everyone had a great time. Highlights included the Cliffs of Moher, Galway and Blarney Castle. Thanks Dan and Paddywagon for a wonderful time!

We were a family of seven and we had Eamon with us for five days and we toured almost the whole country together. he helped us create the itinerary and he was also flexible when we had a change of plans. We did it all. From Big city Dublin to the uninhabited wilds of the Wild Atlantic Coast. And, along the way, we learned about the history and culture of Ireland. Highly recommended.

The bus driver drove dangerously. We had to warn him we were afraid of his driving. Narrow roads but very fast driving.
    The guide OK.

The tour itself was wonderful. Guide was informative and included a lot of history, while being quiet enough in the early morning to allow us to relax and nap on the bus. Day one was Jam packed, and I wish we would have had a little longer as the Q at Blarney castle was 90 minutes and we were given only two hours. Not willing to waste our time there in line, we opted to explore the grounds instead and missed our chance at the Blarney Stone.
Now, for the accommodation. The upgrade to a standard accommodation (rather than hostel) is a B&B which is old but clean and hospitable. (Acorn Inn). The tour company does not provide the name of the hotel nor do they share that it is a ten minute walk up a steep hill (I was towing 70 lbs worth of luggage). Had I known, I would have simply ordered a cab. While the driver offered to carry my luggage, he was older than I so I certainly didn’t feel comfortable with that!
The tour leaves from a spot in Dublin around the corner from the Paddywagon office. Tickets were not clear and the spot was not marked. Buses were obvious but no sign as to which bus was for which tour. No sign or person to indicate the need to check in at the office. Very disorganized.

This Overland Ireland Tour was simply fabulous. The food, the transportation, accommodations and our wonderful guide Finn, made this an epic trip of a lifetime. As we traveled through the countryside, Finn introduced us to the wonderful history of Ireland and its people, allowing us to really feel the Irish experience. There's so much to do here, so much to see, and so much to enjoy. The Irish are wonderful, laughing, smiles, helpful, and plenty of joking around. I cant think of a better way to see this wonderful country than with Overland Ireland - I love the small group experience, makes it much more intimate and enjoyable. Thank you Finn and Overland Ireland for such a wonderful experience!!

We did the two-day Wild Atlantic Way tour and it started out great. Our tour guide for the first half of day 1 was lovely and told great stories along the way. The lunch in Doolin was delicious — highly recommend the fish and chips. And, the Cliffs of Moher were worth the trip, despite the fog that rolled in. Unfortunately, the tour fell apart when we reached our night’s accommodations. It was as though the motel (I hesitate to use “B&B” because it connotes a higher level of accommodation.) was not expecting us at all. The proprietor was scattered and seemingly unaware of our group’s needs, not to mention unwilling to apologize for it. At breakfast the next morning, there wasn’t room for everyone to eat and the food took so long, several people didn’t get to eat at all. But, the kicker was that the one restaurant in town that was open the night of our arrival, apparently ran out of food. Luckily, our guide Dan was a savior and took us to the next town over (Dingle) for dinner. Dingle is a darling town and I recommend it as an alternative to Annascaul anyway. Overall, we had a good time and saw a lot but I can’t give it 5 stars due to the snags on the accommodations and meals.

Pat made the cliff walk into an experience to remember! He's a fantastic conversationalist who knows a ton about the area. His guidance was great, the conversations interesting and he was always ready to grab your phone to take a picture. While you don't need a guide for the walk, I absolutely recommend spending 3h with Pat.

This was one of the best tours we have ever done as a family! I have traveled the world and can say with certainty that this experience is easily in our "Top 3". Antony was a superb tour guide and became nearly family by the end of the journey. We saw and did things in Ireland that will create lasting memories for a lifetime. I HIGHLY recommend this tour company and guides. They know Ireland, inside and out, and you will absolutely enjoy your time. Fantastic value for the money and something that both young, middle-aged, and old will enjoy (we had all types on our small tour). Thank you Antony and Irish Experience for a wonderful vacation and an incredible tour of your fabulous country. If you are going to Ireland, use this company; you will not be disappointed!

The tour sounded great online and enrollment was simple but the trip turned out so much better than expected. Although it was a "zest" tour we had quite a spectrum of physical abilities in our group of 16. All were seamlessly accommodated at each venue. Activities were varied, interesting and memorable. A highlight for me was The Cliffs. Some will say this is a tourist trap but not when taken in with local guide Pat who took us on a memorable 3 hour trek. Outstanding! All local guides were excellent.

Lodgings were always well located, clean, comfortable and with good breakfasts. Transportation was first class and great effort was made to cover the necessary ground without spending your day in the van.

All sounds OK right? Well the straw that stirred this drink and the differentiator for me was our guide Frankie Burke. Informative, attentive to everyone's individual needs, fun & friendly while quietly being very efficient. If all of Overland's guides are even close to Frankie's abilities then they have figured out the recipe for this business. This young man was a real pro.

All in all I had fairly moderate expectations for this trip based on the price point but was very pleasantly surprised with the total experience. Whenever we encountered other tours along our way with 50 or 60 folks wearing name tags on a huge bus I felt like I was on a private, down to earth, tour with 15 new friends. Highly recommended!

The 7-day Emerald Explorer was the perfect way for me, my family and friends to see some of the most exquisite parts of Ireland. It was so nice to not worry about booking accommodations or driving the narrow, winding roads of Ireland. Mark, our guide, was very knowledgeable. He also made sure that all reservations were in order prior to arriving at the various tours. There were a couple of locations in which Overland Ireland had booked a guide at that particular venue who new even more detailed information and tips for getting the most out of that particular place. We had a person with a mobility issue, and Mark went out of his way to make sure he was able to participate as fully as possible. Mark also booked several dinner reservations ahead of time for our group, which was incredibly helpful after a long day of sightseeing. Thanks for a great Irish holiday!
