My wife and I enjoy going into caves. The Doolin caves are easy to navigate inside, plenty of parking and a cafe. It was a great place to spend some time on another rainy day.

One does not expect to find such a beautiful garden on the windswept Wet Coast of Ireland but this one is well worth a visit, especially if you also have a garden of your own. You will not only get some wonderful ideas but you will be able to purchase some excellent specimens of many of the plants you have seen. Well worth a short detour from the Wild Atlantic Way to see it.

This is a nice area to explore with several different walks for all different abilities.
While you are there be sure to stop at the Burren Perfumery with its beautiful gardens and wonderful homemade food!

We visited on a day when a 40mph onshore wind was sending the waves crashing down on the rocky shoreline. Spectacular. The ferry tumbled about on the ferocious surf like a piece of driftwood. The rocks on the shoreline all have geometric shapes, rather like the Giants Causeway. A rock pool heaven.

Great place to visit and all for a €1 car park ticket.

So much fun to experience music like this. Like being personally entertained in your own living room, except it theirs! Don’t miss it!

We stopped here for lunch while exploring the area and enjoyed ourselves. Had a couple of pints and Guinness Stew.

    Visiting from British Columbia Canada.
Loved this shop in the quaint little town of Doolin
Excellent selection of all things Irish.
Was there one morning and fell in love with a print of the Cliffs of Moyer.
Came back in the afternoon to get it and it had sold.
We were heading to Italy the next day.
No problems at all, the staff said they could get another one in shortly and have it shipped to us in Canada within 2 weeks.
When we got home a couple of weeks later our print was waiting for us.
Hassle free, great personal service and follow up.
A must stop when in Doolin.

This is the best pitch an putt anywhere. I call it the Iish open of pitch and putts. It is situated ight by the ocen, with views of the Ciffs of Moher. The course hs pot bunkers, high fescue and winds, just like the Open. Wonderful fun.

A must when in Doolin. This Jam is the best ever. We try to go to Ireland every year and found this gem. The jams are out of this world, best ever. Do you think i like their product, just ask. Bring some home to the US and you'll go back to Doolin for another treat.

We stopped in this shop on our way to the Cliffs of Moher. We stopped at a local pub Doolin before heading over to the cliffs and our coach driver suggested that if we had time after our meal, we should check out the little chocolate shop next door. We are so glad we stopped in here! The lady working in the shop was very welcoming and friendly. We had a hard time deciding what we wanted because there was so much to choose from! The prices were very reasonable as well. There is a minimum amount you must spend if you wanted to pay on a credit card (€10) so just be mindful about that. We purchased six different flavors of fudge and none of them were a disappointment! We highly recommend the Irish Cream Liqueur and Cappuccino fudge flavors. The fudge was very fresh and flavorful. This shop will not disappoint! If you are in Doolin, this place is a must!

Four of us (all in our 70's) hiked the Doolin Cliff Walk with Pat. We had a beautiful sunny day which is definitely a plus..the views and the stories are worth every step. All of us are in relatively good shape but I can say the steps up can be challenging . Make sure you are prepared with water and good shoes! We all agreed it was the highlight of our 2 weeks in Ireland.

We took the ferry to Inishmore and stayed a night, had a van tour of the island, hiked up to the fort, visited the old church at the base, did some shopping, then returned to Doolin on the ferry. Great service, friendly staff. Get there early so you can sit on the top. Standing room only if you are late.

Not only did Patrick at North Clare Sea Kayaking cover all the basics well -- He was punctual, efficient and brought to the trip the knowledge of safety, kayaking skills and knowledge of local waters that one would want and expect of a kayak guide -- He went above and beyond, providing a wealth of information about local flora and fauna (seals, otters, birds, sea weed), as well as a wealth of knowledge about local history and culture. It was all that one could expect and more. We only had time for a couple of hours, but I would gladly return to do a longer trip. All three members of our party had a great time. It was great to see Ireland from a new perspective, the water and be out in the open air with a knowledgeable and reliable host. It was one of the highlights of our trip. You'll be in good hands with Patrick and have a great time.
