Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The garden was the main reason we traveled to Tramore during our trip to Ireland. I'd read about Lafcadio Hearn and enjoyed his writings very much, so the garden was a must-see location for our trip... and it did not disappoint. The staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful, the entire garden is beautifully maintained, there was ample historical information provided, and we enjoyed the experience thoroughly. Highly recommended! -- Richard Sanders/Margaret Shippen (Hartwell, GA/US)

Very nice beach with adequate parking. Appeared to had a variety of dining places, but we just walked on the beach.
Beach was very walkable and turned out to be a very nice beach to find sea glass.

Lots of different rides and games for all ages. Spent about 4 hours here and only did about half or less of the things available to do. Its pricy...ranging from €2.50 to €3.50 a go but a good place for a day out with the kids

What a beautiful area of Tramore during the day. A Lovely place to sit and relax and take in the amazing view of Tramore bay its surroundings.
The contrast however is that the beautiful view is completely lost during the evening when the path lights come on, the amount of lightning along the path is ridiculous and on a beautiful night the sky and stars disappear due to the amount of light pollution from these lights, completely over the top and so unnecessary.

Visited recently with our young children. Really lovely place, lots for the kids to see and do and the space is enclosed so safe for small kids. Staff were very friendly and showed the kids how to handle the animals. Food was very good too and overall reasonable. Would definitely return

I always go at least one day esp ladies day at the races. Good excuse to dress up. Bit expensive to get through the door but under 16s and children are free. Plenty of food choices and bars to get a drink from. You do need quite a bit if money esp if you have teenagers between gambling eating and drinking after ur entrance fee you need to have fat purse or wallet but in saying that it is definitely worth a visit. If you have young kids the sunday family day is the day for u. Bouncy castles face painting lots fir young kids. We will always go for at least one day. Well worth a visit

This is about the food. I called in for a late lunch when I saw the sign for The Bistro as I was passing, on a cold blustery day. I sat in by the log burning stove and ordered the fish of the day which was a really really tasty risotto of prawns, salmon and cod. I asked them to hold the prawns if that was possible and indeed it was as they made the dish to order, so there was a wait of about 15 minutes, which suited me, and for any vegetarians the risotto on its own would be lovely. It came surrounded by a lovely butter sauce, possibly hollandaise, but I’m ignorant of these things - all delicious. Very friendly staff and pleasant old style bar (I love to see that rather than the trendy plain modern look often around which often can mean it’s all about quick food and not atmosphere ), and beautiful look out to the golf course. They also do breakfasts including potato cake for vegetarians! Mine came with a side of veg (maybe as I had no prawns) and I took a portion of salmon away for hubby to try as it was too much for me.

Holy Cross Church is Gothic Revival design dating to 1857 with the laying of the foundation stone. The church was completed in 1860 and opened for worship. I think that I required a wide lens camera to capture the exterior with it's 60m high spire but managed to get enough distance to capture the whole. The interior comprises the nave and an aisle either side, the main altar and two side altars. Tasteful and muted décor with the main altar and the arched ceilings outstanding features. Stained glass windows are exceptional. Built oh the highest point in Tramore, the church dominates the skyline. The adjacent cemetery dates to at least 1805.

Very average, changing area very dated, could do with deep clean. pool itself quiet small for a splashworld, nothing much for smaller kids and no swim rings allowed. Limited to one hour but to be fair it's enough as not much to do. Waves turned on twice during that time.

We had middle child's birthday here today and he loved it. Great fun for all and the staff take care of everything. Choice of hot meal or nibbles and sandwiches. Popcorn and drinks all supplied. Separate area for under 3s which was ideal. Great for one off visits too. Would definitely recommend. Couldn't rate the staff highly enough. Very aware and couldn't do enough for us.
