Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Karolina G1 contributionThe start of the tour was a bit delayed as the group before us ran into our start time but the tour was worth the wait and Ann Marie was an amazing tour guide. She spoke very clearly, was very interesting and knowledgeable. She took nice pictures of us and was very kind and accommodating. The views from the top of the tower were lovely too!Written 22 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - beegalIowa City, IA153 contributionsA gorgeous church which is well set up for tourists with ample information (even when the reception desk is closed), music piped in, much to read. We spent nearly two hours there. Handicapped accessible - you can drive on the encircling gravel path right to the door, but not all the chapels inside have ramps.Written 21 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bozeman-DublinTrim, Ireland8,688 contributionsI loved my walk along the wooden boardwalk at Yiloughal on a bright spring morning.
There's a great view along the coast and the surface is very wide, flat and well kept.
There is a big car park and toilets just on the town side of the car park. The boardwalk stretches off along the beach, not too far, perhaps a 15 or 30 munite stroll one way. If you walk towards the town it is only about a 5 minute walk to the end of the biardwalk.
To the main part of Youghal you'll be waking about 50 minutes one way so be warned!Written 20 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The staff are just wonderful! So polite & helpful! The booster seats are ideal for the kids, my daughter was very comfortable & didn’t have to strain to see the screen. I thought the lady handing lollipops out at the end of the show was a fantastic touch! Thanks so much for making our day so special!Written 10 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Tracey PClonmel, Ireland166 contributionsMy kids are 6 and 1. Great for kids above the age of 2 maybe 3.
Amusements are good however only downfall is that the rides that need staff to monitor them or work them are really under staffed, we had to wait for the ride opposite to finish for the girl to come across and work the ride we were queuing for, this happened a few times... I was here 3 years ago and it was the same.
We ate in the diner here, food is actually nice here, we were pleasantly surprised as places like this don't normally have good food. But I would give the food 5 stars for a kids place.
We went into the player, we were charged €12 between the kids for 1 hour. Eldest had great fun, there's very little for kids under 2 in here. Very little only 2 small areas with very little in them. I was sitting in area at the end of the play area as the youngest made her way down there and there where no older kids in that area but we were asked to leave by a member of staff, when I said if older kids comes we will leave and she said adults aren't allowed in any of the play areas. So we then left. Really don't think kids under the age of 2 should be charged especially when there only allowed in 2 areas with very little in them.Written 22 January 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The salmon was amazing and the drinks were lovely. I didn't have a cocktail but a few of our group did and enjoyed them.Written 23 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
