- WaterfordGuyCarrick-on-Suir, Ireland81 contributionsVery much enjoyed our visit to Youghal Gate Clock Tower. There is so much history on this building and our tour guide, Shirley, was very informative and friendly. We'll worth a visit.Written 14 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- John MLyon, France1,809 contributionsWe visited after Christmas, when the weather was quite nippy but the air was fresh for a walk along the country’s longest seafront boardwalk, between Youghal town centre and Redbarn beach. This is a 7 kilometre hardwood panelled beach walk-way, 2-metre-wide and wheelchair and pushchair accessible.
We enjoyed the bracing fresh air as to took our constitutional walk, and rested on the benches on the way to enjoy the sounds and scenery. Can get busy in fine weather.Written 1 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Donagh MDublin, Ireland50 contributionsSt. Mary's Collegiate Church was built in Youghal in 1220. It has been very well kept and is still used for Church services but also for concerts. There is much to look at here including the beautiful East Window, the oak scissors truss roof`which had been covered by a ceiling but is now revealed in all its glory. The acoustic jars which are high up in the walls. The jars are on their sides. There is the Boyle Chapel, made for Richard Boyle, first earl of Cork who died in 1643. These are just some of the treasures to discover. Well worth a visit.Written 24 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- chrissie86Youghal, Ireland8 contributionsI brought my little girl here for her very first trip to the cinema & we were not disappointed! The staff are just wonderful! So polite & helpful! The booster seats are ideal for the kids, my daughter was very comfortable & didn’t have to strain to see the screen. I thought the lady handing lollipops out at the end of the show was a fantastic touch! Thanks so much for making our day so special!Written 10 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- SweetgemBelfastBelfast70 contributionsYoughal is a scenic town located by the sea. The historic walk is easy to do. It takes you around the historic area and where Sir Walter Raleigh lived. The churches are fascinating and have a lot of history attached to them. There is also a lovely garden to visit and seaside area. We thought it was great.Written 27 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Tracey PClonmel, Ireland165 contributionsMy kids are 6 and 1. Great for kids above the age of 2 maybe 3.
Amusements are good however only downfall is that the rides that need staff to monitor them or work them are really under staffed, we had to wait for the ride opposite to finish for the girl to come across and work the ride we were queuing for, this happened a few times... I was here 3 years ago and it was the same.
We ate in the diner here, food is actually nice here, we were pleasantly surprised as places like this don't normally have good food. But I would give the food 5 stars for a kids place.
We went into the player, we were charged €12 between the kids for 1 hour. Eldest had great fun, there's very little for kids under 2 in here. Very little only 2 small areas with very little in them. I was sitting in area at the end of the play area as the youngest made her way down there and there where no older kids in that area but we were asked to leave by a member of staff, when I said if older kids comes we will leave and she said adults aren't allowed in any of the play areas. So we then left. Really don't think kids under the age of 2 should be charged especially when there only allowed in 2 areas with very little in them.Written 22 January 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Anne DoranCork, Ireland345 contributionsGlad I was in a car, because the walls are on the highest point in Youghal. It's a must when in Youghal and it's off the beaten track. There was a board with information and the walls stretch for 1 km. Lovely to see. Not my first time in Youghal, but the first time in this part of Youghal.Written 20 July 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Seamus2 contributionsGreat fun for those rainy nights . It’s very basic but that’s the charm. The kids love it and we get a few pints and watch the races, walking distance to everything.Written 9 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- relaaxedNorwich, Eng218 contributionsNice idea, giving play area and green space to North side of town. Once in there it's a bit bland and not much to see or doWritten 10 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Donagh MDublin, Ireland50 contributionsWe set out at 10am on a Monday morning recently with Skipper Tony. His boat takes 12 passengers. We had beautiful weather all the time during our trip. Every so often Tony would stop and explain the history of the river and the castles on its shores which was very interesting. He explained that Youghal had been hit by a tsunami in the 800s which changed the course of the river and the coastline. We traveled as far as Villierstown where we landed and had coffee. The trip back was just as enjoyable. It should be taken at high tide which means that muddy banks are hidden. Our visit concluded at 2pm.Written 24 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
