- Betsy P73 contributionsFun daytrip from Galway. Just an hour by train. Very small pub but wasn't crowded when we were there. Had a beer at the bar. Staff was friendly and helpful. - tpdublin36 contributionsJust back from a really fantastic afternoon and evening spent in the snug. Gillian, Michael and Dermot were so kind and helpful for any of the needs of the group. We had a hen party and had a wonderful area out in the beer garden to host our games. Later we had a room upstairs which was also fantastic. - Venture7908883 contributionsWe.were blessed with the fine weather for our cruise down the Shannon. The.time flew as we relaxed on the boat. Fab scenery on.the river wildlife people fishing sunbathers on their boats. We could hear the guide talking and giving us local information
All staff were very helpful and friendly
We were offered a complentary drink too. Would highly recommend this exciting boat journey. The best part of the trip for me outside of being with my sisters was going through the lock gates and friendliness of the locals. Clonmacnoise was the highlight of the trip
We loved every minute.of it
