Had a snowball fight with one elf( cotton wool snowballs). Loads of games for children to enjoy while waiting for their visit with Santa. Santa himself was a lovely friendly man who really acted the part. After Santa it was down to visit Mrs Claus who got the kids to sing and dance and she told a story and done a magic trick. Visit topped off with some hot chocolate included in the price. Very good day out and great value for money too. And you get to roam around the. The ambiance was so delightful! Loved the traditional Irish music- our granddaughter even danced a jig! Booking was easy and the staff answered any queries we had. The suite itself is small but its nice, its clean and well kept. All us us loved our treatments, we all opted for different things but no one had any bad words to say at all, it was an enjoyable experience from beginning to end. The one thing I do want to highlight, the staff are hands down the best I have ever come across, every single person was friendly, helpful and answered any question we had. They honestly went above and beyond for us and I could not recommend this enough, they honestly made the experience ten times better! We will be back! We also went for lunch in the bar/restaurant and the food was amazing. Delicious pints of Guinness were served whilst we chatted to a male bar tender and his two gorgeous dogs (who sat beside us the entire time) We came back that evening with two friends and another good time was had. Staff are friendly, courteous and give a genuine smile and a chat. The bar was busy for a Monday evening as there was a pub quiz on. Mix of young & older patrons. Loved it, will recommend to everyone & definitely will be back. The outside seating was already all taken, so our group of 8 found a comfortable place to sit towards the back of the pub. Music was playing in the background and the television was showing a sporting match. We enjoyed our beers and glasses of wine. My husband and I were a few days into an American tour company's trip to Northern Ireland and Ireland. Ana, did my paraffin wax pedicure, lovely experience, lovely girl.
I then had a lymphatic drainage massage which was just what I wanted.
I was 2 hrs! €120 for both.

Sinead did the tan and it was perfect - a natural glow! Annalise did makeup, and it was fabulous....again not overdone, but was perfect. They really listened to and essentially granted our wish-list. Went in at Christmas time for anniversary. - Kathryn LVisby, Sweden83 contributionsNice old classic boat with a captain Mike and crew George. I did 2 cruises with them. One to the lake and islands and back. On the second, we went down river through the Athlone Lock to the ruins of the monastery Clonmacnoise. Then you can either take the boat straight back or tour the monastery and take a nice prepaid bus back. I enjoyed good weather and lots of birds both times. Nice scenery. The history of Athlone came alive through Vincent’s recounting of it’s ancient and recent history some of which he was personally involved in. - Alison L3 contributionsI booked the hot tub cruise for a group of friends to celebrate a big birthday! It was an unreal experience! Shane our skipper was so helpful and made the whole trip so relaxed and enjoyable. We had a ball and sipped champagne in the hot tub while taking in the beautiful nature and wildlife along the river Shannon. Shane picked us up outside Athlone Castle in the town.
