- Tylou2 contributionsAn absolutely tremendous trip out! The whole experience was amazing. Ni and JJ, who run the trip are friendly, knowledgeable, amusing and helpful. I have walking issues but they were accommodating and understanding, helping me onto and off the catamaran and up the harbour steps. We were accompanied for most of the trip by short-beaked dolphins jumping and playing alongside and in front of the boat. We had sightings of the infrequently seen larger Rhesus dolphins and inquisitive Atlantic seals bobbing their heads above the water to look at us. We also passed colonies of seabirds on rocky outcrops as well as guillimots and gannets.
The trip took us alongside stunningly beautiful coastal scenery with fascinating geological forms. The trip was over 5 hrs - I enjoyed every second.

It was a beautiful tour from start to finish. Rianne's knowledge of the area and the marine life was excellent. Gerry has a great sense of humour and is a great skipper. It was lovely to see the Fastnet lighthouse so close at sunset. The water was amazingly calm and it was lovely to see the dolphins swimming beside our boat. - Quentin LBedfordshire, UK216 contributionsWe took the ferry to go to Cape Clear Island. The crew is very friendly like everyone in Ireland. We watched the mail, food, luggage being loaded on to the ferry as it is the only means of communication. The coast is so beautiful when viewed from the sea, the cliffs can turn from grey to green. You can also enjoy the sea life with seals popping their heads out of the water. - Amanda C4 contributionsThe dawn pilgrimage to St Barrahane's Well followed by a bracing swim was just sublime! What a fantastic way to start any day. We were blessed with amazing weather, the Glen was lush and bosky, and the water clear and bracing. Never has a steaming cup of tea and a bowl of porridge tasted so good. Conor is an engaging and knowledgeable story teller and I really appreciated getting a synopsis of the tales told later. - armadilloLancashireLancashire2 contributionsBaltimore Diving is a family run business in Co Cork, Ireland. I have been diving for 30 years and found the owner/skipper to be one of the very best. John Kearney leads the Co Cork Underwater Search and Rescue team, and also is cox on the local lifeboat, so be assured you are diving with someone who knows what he is doing. John goes out of his way to make sure you have a great holiday.
