I really enjoyed this tour! I did a couple others while in Ireland and this was my favorite!! It was with a smaller tour group that we had lots of opportunities to explore with on a fun train ride and bus. The Blarney Castle grounds were BEAUTIFUL, the Castle was interesting, and the stone was 🥴. I loved the small towns we stopped in. The tour guide (Harry??) was so knowledgeable.
This is also the time to get Aran sweaters! We passed by a beautiful shop that has so many options.
Definitely would recommend this tour!!!! ❤️

Our driver was great, very patient with a fellow tour member who was 20 minutes late back to the bus. He was a terrific tour guide filling in information not only about what we were seeing, but the history of the area both important and incidental. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

Although our cruise docked later than planned… no problems! As advertised, easy to find the bus and we were off for the day within 30 minutes of debarking. The driver Niall was superb and even permitted an additional stop at the Cohn Cathedral! A great, busy shore excursion for Cork… plus shopping, too!

I thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip! From the Rock of Cashel, to kissing the Blarney stone, to cycling in Killarney National Park & stayed in the charming coastal town of Dingle, to the Cliffs of Moher (stunning!) & staying in the village of Doolin & listening to traditional Irish music at a pub, to the city of Galway & taking a walking tour while experiencing different food & drink after a relaxing yoga class in the morning! We also had a cooking class, took a ferry to the Aran Island to cycle on the coast & hike up to a fort with the most beautiful views!

People ask me what my favorite part was and I can't name just one thing, it was beautiful and we gained so much knowledge of Ireland from our tour guide, Pat😁 It was evident on how proud he is of his country & we all learned so much about Ireland's history & traditions. He had a great sense of humor & he was concerned & conscientious about each & everyone's safety, comfort & that we were content with our daily schedule. Pat made our trip even more enjoyable with his knowledge, wit & care of us!

For anyone unsure if they could physically do the hikes or cycling- the company offers other options for those who may not be physically able to do some of the activities. They ensure options for different capabilities.

Mary was so engaging and full of knowledge about Cobh, Kinsale and so much more! A huge highlight for us was climbing Blarney Castle and exploring the beautiful grounds with all her personal recommendations and knowledge.

I booked Maurice for a trip to take American friends around Cork. It was a fantastic day. He had immense knowledge of the area and the local history. He is such an entertaining guy so nice and so pleasurable to be with. I could not recommend him highly enough. The tour took in Kinsale, Cobh and Blarney my visitors had a fantastic trip around Cork. His car was immaculate and his time keeping perfect.

The trip was well-organised so we didn't have to worry about anything. The wild nature of the western coast is amazing and visits to sites like the Cobh heritage center added to our understanding of Irish history and culture. Our guide Jonathan is a historian and his humor combined with in-depth knowledge made the whole experience more than worthwhile. Even my 13-year old son never missed a thing Jonathan said.

    Fantastic tour with Kieran.
Kieran McCarthy gave an excellent interesting Rebel tour.
He concentrated on the rebellions and Civil War of the 19th and early 20th century in Cobh. He brought the times to life with lookouts, ambushes, doorways and alleyways. He is very passionate about his subject and has obviously spent decades on his research and even published his own book. The tour was interspersed with other interesting details about the Cathedral, Titanic and other sites in Cobh.
5 stars for the tour. One of the highlights of our Ireland tour.

Was a little worried when the museum started off with some oddly dressed mannequins and a few information boards, but it quickly improved to teach a lot about emigration from Ireland through Cobh, prisoners being sent to Australia, being the last Port of call for the Titanic, and how involved Cobh was with the aftermath of the Lusitania sinking. Children will enjoy being given a passenger to follow along with and find throughout the museum; I thought this was a nice touch and it was good to see a variety of endings. Overall a good way to spend the morning in Cobh.

We had no idea of the historical importance of this lovely, little town. Eddie gave us a wonderful, informative and entertaining tour full of fascinating facts regarding the Titanic and Lusitania, as well as additional extras about the military connections within the area. A must do if in the area!

Had a great time on our 4 day rail/bus tour. Brian was our guide through the week. He was very knowledgeable and made the tour a lot of fun. We were very lucky and had great weather all week. Everything in Ireland is beautiful. We got the chance to watch a sheep herding demonstration. It was very cool and amazing to see how it is done. On our ride back to Dublin Terrence was our guide. He was very nice and helped us arrive back safely. This is a wonderful company and I would recommend using them if you come to Ireland.

This tour was a great way to see some of Ireland’s highlights. Our guide, Jonathan B., was friendly, helpful, and informative. We did everything in the tour description and more. For example, we saw a demonstration of how trained dogs heard sheep. It was amazing.

An important note is that we never felt rushed. In fact, because our tour-mates were all courteous and returned to the coach on time, we often made brief unscheduled stops for photos, etc.

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland.
