What travellers are saying
- rftuNewry, UK990 contributionsI pretend this is Irelands Romeo & Juliet. Squeezed between two pubs..Flynns and Armstrongs ( although Armstrongs are either under-going remodelling ).Written 11 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- thecelticyankBelturbet, Ireland105 contributionsThis was a lovely place for a quick stop. The waterfall is just down a path. Beautiful, lush vegetation. The waterfall itself is worth a visit. There are a few picnic tables around and it is just across from Glencar lake. It is definitely worth a drive. Lovely and scentic drive along the way. Highly recommend.Written 17 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- CMBernadetteDoolin, Ireland134 contributionsAs I had small children and a dog with me I was unbale to venture beyond the craft shop and cafe which were all laid out in a very inviting style. The staff were very friendly and helpfu. I understand it hosts a theatre and art gallery and must be a welcome addition to the residents of CarrickWritten 5 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Robin DSt. Petersburg, FL19 contributionsThis beautifully and authentically restored castle is worth a visit. Our guide Dara was a spectacular guide; explaining every detail of the original 15th century tower house and 17th century castle. His knowledge of history, construction techniques and culture is remarkable. The 20 minute video snd displays provide a great deal of information even if a tour is not available. Call ahead for tour times. Combine with visit to Creevylea Friary.Written 6 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

He is a great instructor and added lots of interesting pieces of local stories and nature through out the tour.
