- JefSch75Marion, IA77 contributionsWe chose to walk from Kinsale to Charles Fort and was a good hike so keep that in mind. The history in the fort is awesome and the staff on hand explained things very well. Fantastic views from many point in the fort so lots of picture opportunities. Highly recommend.Written 25 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- HawaiiSeaDogHawaii3,374 contributionsThis is a very scenic place and is well worth a visit for the views alone. For anyone with a shipwreck or Cunard interest a visit is a must.Written 7 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- rrodeoSea Isle City, NJ248 contributionsWe recently visited this Garden of Remembrance. We were on a tour with friends when our guide brought us here as a special visit. We did not know where we were going until we arrived. As a former NY EMT/ER nurse who was a 9/11 first responder I was a bit hesitant to go in as 20 years still have not healed many wounds. I’m very thankful our guide convinced me into going in. Yes, I shed many tears but what was done here is unbelievable! I always carry our Emergency Services patches with us while traveling in Ireland and was able to leave the service patches behind. May We Never Forget! Please visit quietly and reflect. 343 trees line this beautiful space. God Bless us all!Written 13 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Allison38 contributionsMy Dad loves mead so this was a definite stop on our tour of Ireland. As the only mead makers on the isle you could never go wrong. The owners were very nice and helpful in offering selections for purchase. I hope my dad likes them.Written 1 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- SCBCounty Waterford, Ireland2 contributionsA little bit hard to find, walked out to it. Well worth the walk as great view of the sea and even though ruins was still very mysterious.
Close to the lovely beach.Written 17 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Christopher NPhoenix, AZ14 contributionsSo sorry to hear you are closed for the season but...
I was able to order Blacks in the restaurants around town. Also found in the grocery stores. So not all was lost. Great beers and the tour is a reason to comeback to Kinsale next year! Keep up the amazing work.Written 19 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Laurel FChicago, IL34 contributionsWe took a tour of Kinsale and although the church wasn’t included in the tour it ended at this point so we stopped in to see it and we were happy we did. It’s stained glass was beautiful and although it’s not a large church there was a lot of stained glass. There was a memorial to those who died on the Lusitania and also some graves from passengers lost in the tragedy.Written 4 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Hilary MAuckland, New Zealand29 contributionsThis was our first stop in Kinsale. We got all we needed, maps, suggestions, correct locations of places of Interest, where to eat without being bias. Great place and great people.Written 22 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- monroegcrewNew Port Richey, FL66 contributionsWhile the majority of our party are Irish, 2 are Vietnam War Veterans so we had to stop. Unfortunately the Medal of Honor went on an exhibit toTampa, Florida so we were not able to see it but they had had some artifacts from 9/11. Worth the quick stop and the curator was welcoming and informative.Written 10 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Andre HCape Town, South Africa353 contributionsWhat is unusual about this Castle is that its right in town amongst the houses & shops. The walk to get to the castle was amazing , Kinsale is a very pretty town.
The castle does not look very impressive from the outside although it has its own history like all the othersWritten 4 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Karen FLincoln, UK710 contributionsWe almost didn't go in here as it doesn't look much from the outside. We were so glad we did. It was free to go in and that was a pleasant surprise. Downstairs they have a room set out with lots of displays of old local items, as if you are looking at a workshop. Upstairs they have lots of information about events in the local area. The volunteers are friendly and knowledgeable. A gentleman gave us lots of additional information about the displays and made sure we didn't miss out on parts he thought we would particularly want to see.Written 12 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- yankeedubLong Island, NY2 contributionsRented the deluxe touring package from Ruth for a week long solo ride along the WAW from Kinsale to Killarney. She made the entire process a breeze. Timely communication, drop off and pick up service and great equipment. Will definitely rent from her againWritten 8 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Heather MacBristow, VA29 contributionsSo glad we did this tour!! We didn't have Don or Barry, we had David and he was WONDERFUL! Dad jokes and all! We would have missed so much about the history of Kinsale and of Ireland if we skipped this tour! Easy walk through the streets and David was a delight.Written 17 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Shannon CTenerife, Spain17 contributionsThe experience was very entertaining way to past an hour, the men were funny and great with kids. The tour was uphill but they were slow so kids could keep up had little jump scares throughout. Wonderful trip.Written 2 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
