- Allison38 contributionsMy Dad loves mead so this was a definite stop on our tour of Ireland. As the only mead makers on the isle you could never go wrong. The owners were very nice and helpful in offering selections for purchase. I hope my dad likes them.Written 1 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Christopher NPhoenix, AZ14 contributionsSo sorry to hear you are closed for the season but...
I was able to order Blacks in the restaurants around town. Also found in the grocery stores. So not all was lost. Great beers and the tour is a reason to comeback to Kinsale next year! Keep up the amazing work.Written 19 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - monroegcrewNew Port Richey, FL66 contributionsWhile the majority of our party are Irish, 2 are Vietnam War Veterans so we had to stop. Unfortunately the Medal of Honor went on an exhibit toTampa, Florida so we were not able to see it but they had had some artifacts from 9/11. Worth the quick stop and the curator was welcoming and informative.Written 10 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Andre HCape Town, South Africa353 contributionsWhat is unusual about this Castle is that its right in town amongst the houses & shops. The walk to get to the castle was amazing , Kinsale is a very pretty town.
The castle does not look very impressive from the outside although it has its own history like all the othersWritten 4 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Lynn H1 contributionI absolutely LOVED this pottery class! It was a full day and we got to do four individual activities. We tried some throwing, we designed a plaque, we decorated a cup and also made a coil clay sculpture. I didn't want the day to end! The materials were plentiful, we had all the tools we needed, and Adrian and Ann were total experts. I'd go back any day.Written 18 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Karen FLincoln, UK710 contributionsWe almost didn't go in here as it doesn't look much from the outside. We were so glad we did. It was free to go in and that was a pleasant surprise. Downstairs they have a room set out with lots of displays of old local items, as if you are looking at a workshop. Upstairs they have lots of information about events in the local area. The volunteers are friendly and knowledgeable. A gentleman gave us lots of additional information about the displays and made sure we didn't miss out on parts he thought we would particularly want to see.Written 12 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- PJADUBSLas Vegas, NV6 contributionsMy husband signed us up for this hike after we watched an episode of "Somebody Feed Phil" and knew we'd have a great time. Little did he know that we were going to have the BEST time! Suzanne is knowledgeable, personable, hospitable and genuinely kind. Who knew seaweed was so intelligent? Did you know certain types of seaweed can make its own sunscreen? We didn't! After our gorgeous hike (ask about Goat Island!) we had a lovely picnic along the seashore stocked with foods provided by everything local - Salmon Pate from The Gourmet Pantry, and Seaweed soda bread from Max's. 15/10 recommend.Written 22 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Aussie47Sydney, Australia283 contributionsWe called in after dinner to sample the local music.
It is quite a small place and can get crowded, especially around the bar. Our group were a bit noisy and received dirty looks from the licensee and some of the customers who were interested in listening to the music.
Can't blame them really - this is a serious music pub.
We had a couple of drinks and left. There are more "open" music pubs in Kinsale!Written 25 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - SagarVSIndia2,509 contributionsVery nice seafood. Tried lobster and was delicious. Also tasted a couple of interesting vegetarian options and they were good. A short drive from down town.Written 7 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- irishlaad23 contributionsTraditional old Irish pub. Fabulous for tourists and locals alike. A step back in time. Lovely open fire and a great pint.Written 10 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Laurel FChicago, IL34 contributionsWe stopped in to look for some on the rocks glasses and were thrilled to see the had glasses with varying rim thicknesses to chose from. They also deep cut their crystal so it has a very nice feel to it. After we were told all about the process of making the glasses we purchased two and they wrapped really well so we could bring them home in our carry ones. They made it with no problem and have been used several times so far!Written 4 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
