He was very knowledgeable about the history and folklore of the area around Cork, and was delightful to listen to. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys history, beautiful scenery and delicious pub food! Derek did a fantastic job showing us all the sites and picking out a special place for us to have lunch. We highly recommend him if you're in the area and want to get the most out of a "day tour". Being a long time resident of Cork, Derek was very knowledgeable of the area, its history & sites. - Lorena S1 contributionWe recently returned from a 10-day cruise around Ireland and the high point of the entire cruise was our day spent touring Cork and the vicinity with Brian Boru. We had a few places that we wanted to see and then took his recommendations for the remainder of the day. He was friendly, it was easy to ask him questions, and he had a wealth of knowledge of the area and of the history of Ireland. We definitely recommend him and at some time in the future, would like to book a land tour with him. From start to finish it was a great experience. Ronan was thoroughly professional, knowledgeable and insightful. We came away crammed with information about the history, geography, politics (and everything else!) about Cork and Ireland and he was able to answer all of our questions. Ronan was able to adapt the day based on our requests and I can’t imagine a better way to see Cork.
