For anyone with a shipwreck or Cunard interest a visit is a must.Written 7 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- rrodeoSea Isle City, NJ248 contributionsWe recently visited this Garden of Remembrance. We were on a tour with friends when our guide brought us here as a special visit. We did not know where we were going until we arrived. As a former NY EMT/ER nurse who was a 9/11 first responder I was a bit hesitant to go in as 20 years still have not healed many wounds. I’m very thankful our guide convinced me into going in. Yes, I shed many tears but what was done here is unbelievable! I always carry our Emergency Services patches with us while traveling in Ireland and was able to leave the service patches behind. May We Never Forget! Please visit quietly and reflect. 343 trees line this beautiful space. God Bless us all!Written 13 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- pgcolesKalamazoo, MI4 contributionsWe spent a very enjoyable 90 minutes with Denis learning about mead. Who would have thought that this fermented honey drink could be so interesting? Denis went through a brief history and shared facts about mead, we enjoyed a honey tasting (wow!), then a tour of the facility and finally a mead tasting. A perfect way to spend part of our afternoon. I can highly recommend this experience. If you are walking, put the Lidl store (the meadery is next door.) - SCBCounty Waterford, Ireland2 contributionsA little bit hard to find, walked out to it. Well worth the walk as great view of the sea and even though ruins was still very mysterious.
Close to the lovely beach.Written 17 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Christopher NPhoenix, AZ14 contributionsSo sorry to hear you are closed for the season but...
I was able to order Blacks in the restaurants around town. Also found in the grocery stores. So not all was lost. Great beers and the tour is a reason to comeback to Kinsale next year! Keep up the amazing work.Written 19 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - AussiesBallaratBallarat, Australia761 contributionsSt Multose Church was built around 1190 on the site of a Norman 6th C church. There is good information available about the history, but inclement weather prevented us exploring the churchyard to find the three graves of victims of the Lusitania. It appeared that being an historic church did not prevent the current congregation from being active in the Kinsale community. The church was easily reached on foot from the central town area.Written 11 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Linda MBoynton Beach, FL1,102 contributionsI stumbled across this lovely little place while there was a fund raiser in progress for Ukraine. I believe this place exemplifies the best of small towns.Written 26 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- monroegcrewNew Port Richey, FL66 contributionsWhile the majority of our party are Irish, 2 are Vietnam War Veterans so we had to stop. Unfortunately the Medal of Honor went on an exhibit toTampa, Florida so we were not able to see it but they had had some artifacts from 9/11. Worth the quick stop and the curator was welcoming and informative.Written 10 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Andre HCape Town, South Africa353 contributionsWhat is unusual about this Castle is that its right in town amongst the houses & shops. The walk to get to the castle was amazing , Kinsale is a very pretty town.
The castle does not look very impressive from the outside although it has its own history like all the othersWritten 4 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Lynn H1 contributionI absolutely LOVED this pottery class! It was a full day and we got to do four individual activities. We tried some throwing, we designed a plaque, we decorated a cup and also made a coil clay sculpture. I didn't want the day to end! The materials were plentiful, we had all the tools we needed, and Adrian and Ann were total experts. I'd go back any day.Written 18 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Karen FLincoln, UK696 contributionsWe almost didn't go in here as it doesn't look much from the outside. We were so glad we did. It was free to go in and that was a pleasant surprise. Downstairs they have a room set out with lots of displays of old local items, as if you are looking at a workshop. Upstairs they have lots of information about events in the local area. The volunteers are friendly and knowledgeable. A gentleman gave us lots of additional information about the displays and made sure we didn't miss out on parts he thought we would particularly want to see.Written 12 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
