Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I visited the museum with my 13 year old son. I thought the personal guided tour of the museum and the Abbey was just excellent. Both guides were so interesting and extremely knowledgeable. A really enjoyable visit!

I Visited Foxford Woolen mills today and had the pleasure of meeting Michael whom hand crafts the jewellery. Every item in there is stunning and unique. I have been looking for a Claddagh ring for some time now and I was thrilled to see the selection of exquisite rings there. Thank you Michael for the warm welcome and the knowledge of jewellery that helped me pick out my perfect Ring. I highly recommend a visit.

Before I went in I was unsure if I'd heard of Admiral Brown, but after going in and seeing the care and attention that the people who set up this place have put into it I bought a book and wanted to find out more about the man in the museum. Excellent place to stop and we just stumbled across it and the lady we spoke to in there was very helpful!

A group of us from Roscommon booked a Murder Mystery experience for a birthday party celebration . It was a perfect choice and location for the birthday event .
We had the whole lodge to ourselves which is extremely charming , super clean and spacious .
We had prosecco on arrival and changed into our character costumes !
A clever touch was to order our breakfast that evening .
A bus was organised to take us to our mystery location where the Murder mystery game was played! We had loads of fun here and each and every one of us got into character form start to finish.
When murder mystery was solved, we got back on the bus to Foxford Lodge , threw on the karaoke machine , chatted ,chilled out and laughed !
The owners of Foxford Lodge Harry & Brigid are so lovely , friendly & accommodating .
it is a fantastic venue to relax , unwind and have a very enjoyable entertaining experience
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend accommodation , hosts and event.

Guirys is an Old fashioned pub, like you'd hope to find in many places but don't. It's a place to talk & enjoy good Guinness & possibly a whiskey.
