Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I have always wanted to hike to this tower when we come to Dingle. Well we did on a beautiful clear morning. It cost two Euros each to hike across this very nice couple’s farm land to the tower. It is essentially a four wheeler road you follow to the top. It is steep at the beginning going straight up then you go through a series of switchbacks to the tower. Not a long hike at all. Magnificent views of Dingle and the peninsula. Well worth the two Euros and the effort it takes to get to the tower. I am very glad we took the sort hike. Make sure you close the gates behind you so the sheep do not get out.

Dingle is one of my favourite Irish towns. The harbour has many working fishing boats, is well-lit and safe to walk around. Many of the boats are colourful - great photo ops.

Went at 10am and had a great time. It lasts about an hour and you get to try their gin, vodka and whiskey which are very good. Would highly recommend

We stopped to view the ruins here. You park in a small lot across the road, walk to the entrance and pay the a few euros per person to enter, walk up a hill( about 2-4 minutes) and then you are there. It is not large and spending 20-30 minutes is about right. Very interesting. The views are also nice from the hill

Visited this beach while on Slea Head Drive with family. The waves at the beach were wild and the spray and blowholes were incredible! This beach is an amazing reminder of the awesome power of the ocean! Definitely worth a stop while doing the Slea Head Drive!

My husband and I booked a private hawk walk. We were privileged to spend time with Clive the Harris hawk. Niamh and Jules were our guides. They were both awesome! Niamh was so fun and passionate about birds of prey. We learned a lot! It was the highlight of our trip and we cannot recommend it enough! There were ample opportunities for pictures and videos, which was nice since we are tourists and love our pics! We had an AMAZING time!! Our walk was lovely but so was seeing the aviary and meeting the other birds.

Excellent music. Good craic. We had seen the owner perform at the St. James Church concert series and came over afterward. If you want to see traditional Irish music and incredible musicians, this is the place to go. It is cash only so make sure to bring some with you.

Walked in on a great session! We were so surprised when all the activity moved to back and the set dancing started. We had so much fun watching all the dancers.

    Shop owner and Drum artisan,
Malachy Kearns, was very hospitable. He explained about the bodhrán drums and the designs. He also gave us some pointers on local sights.

We were lucky to start the sunniest day of our trip with the Dingle Sea Safari. This 3 hour boat tour around the Dingle Peninsula was one of, if not, the highlight of our Ireland travels. Our captain, Colm, was fantastic - raised in Dingle he had a love for his home and a deep respect & knowledge of the wildlife. Witnessing Slea Head from the sea was breathtaking as Colm took us into caves and educated us about the geology & history of Ireland.

The trip only got more exciting when we met the hundreds of seals lazing on the beach. Hearing them all barking & waddling was a joy to see. A few of the pups would playfully pop their heads up closer to the boat.

We then witnessed the Puffins & other seabirds, before finally sighting a family of dolphins. Nothing could describe the wonder of witnessing these incredible creatures popping up alongside the boat. Every passenger seemed to revert to a child-like state with goofy grins all over our faces which only grew when we set our sights on a minke whale. Colm took his time to make sure we spent time with them. The lady beside me was in tears stating that it was a dream come true

If you love nature, history & the wind in your face - this is a must for your travels. Colm was a skilled driver and they provide all the necessary coats, pants & life preservers to make it a comfortable & safe experience.
